Objective:Investigate the common causes of laparoscopic cholecystectomy conversion to open surgery in primary hospital to providing reference for clinical work.Methods:The 41 cases of LC conversion to open cholecystectomy in 3853 cases of LC operation,which were collected in the Department of general surgery,the Sixth Affiliated Hospital of Kunming Medical University from January 2011 to September 2016,were analyzed retrospectively.And in the same period of the LC operation case,we employed random sampling method to extract 41 cases,as the control group.The analysis group of 41 cases medical records were detailed consulted and be summed up.The causes of LC conversion to open surgery were summarized and analyzed from the aspects of preoperative,intraoperative,intraoperative remedies and professional title of the operators and so on.The conclusions were summarized.Results:All operations were successful and all patients recovered and discharged from the hospital after conversion to open laparotomy.No complications such as biliary stricture,biliary fistula or recurrence of bile duct stones were found after followed up the patients for 6 months to 5 years.Conclusions:1.Intra-abdominal severe tissue adhesion and unclear Calot triangle were the main risk factors of laparoscopic conversion to open cholecystectomy.2.Iatrogenic bile duct injury is the necessary conditions for laparoscopic conversion to open cholecystectomy.3.No heterogeneities were observed in the gender and age of laparoscopic conversion to open surgery.4.Perfect the preoperative auxiliary examination can provide a good evaluation of the operation method.5.Timely and reasonable conversion into open surgery is a measure to ensure the safety of operation..
