Objective:To establish a simple,rapid and precise method for MAO A ?-VNTR polymorphism gene typing.To analyse the genetic relationship between MAO A ?-VNTR and physical aggressive behavior in Yunnan Han and Yi population;To provide a scientific theory basis for the prevention and control of violent attacker.Methods:Establishing an automatic genotyping method of AMAOA ?-VNTRpolymorphism using fluorescent labeled primers combined with capillary electrophoresis and comparing with traditional agarose gel electrophoresis;The genotype frequencies of MAOA ?-VNTR in 495 cases with physical aggression(Yunnan Han 315 and Yunnan Yi 180)and correspondingly 527 healthy individuals(Yunnan Han 366 and Yunnan Yi 161)were detected using automatic typing method of fluorescent labeled primers combined with capillary electrophoresis.The statistical analysis was performed using statistical software like SPSS19.0.Results:1.MA OA ?-VNTR automatic genotyping methodEstablishing an automatic genotyping method of MAOA ?-VNTR polymorphism using fluorescent labeled primers combined with capillary electrophoresis.It is Simple,rapid,accurate,efficient,and the results of genotyping are consistent with the traditional agarose gel electrophoresis assay.2.The analysis results of epidemiologyThe average age of eases with physical aggression was 29.16±9.41 years old.The groups of low levels in education with junior middle school or below were high-risk groups of aggressive behavior(P=0.001).The distribution of educational level in the Han and Yi population had significant difference in healthy controls and cases with physical aggression(P=0.001).The risk of aggressive behavior in the divorced,smoking,and drinking group was higher than the married,non-smoking,non-drinking group(0R>1),but had no significant difference(p>0.05).3 The distribution of MAO A ?-VNTR polymorphismOnly 3R and 4R alleles were observed in the Han and Yi populations in Yunnan Province.In the Yunnan Han population,the frequency of 3R and 4R are 0.548 and 0.452,respectively;In the Yunnan Yi population,the frequency of 3R and 4R are 0.478 and 0.522,respectively;The distribution of AMAO A ?-VNTR genotyping has significant difference between the two populations.4 The correlation between MAOA ?-VNTR polymorphism and physical aggressive behaviorIt has no significant difference between the aggressive behavior group and non-aggressive behavior group of the MAO A ?-VNTR polymorphism in the Han(P=0.703)and Yi(P=0.835)population,respectively.5.The analysis results of interaction between MAOA-VNTR polymorphism and potential risk factorsThe interaction process analysis indicated that it has no significant difference(P>0.05)between the degree of eduation,maritai status,drinking,smoking with MAO A ?-VNTR polymorphism in the Yunnan Han and Yi population,respectively.But Logistic regression analysis suggested that the population with low degree of eduation and smoking may be the risk factors of aggressive behavior in the Yunnan Han and Yi population,respectively.Conclusions:1.The operation of MAOA ?-VNTR polymorphism fluorescent labeling automatic typing method is simple,high efficiency and high accuracy.It has good prospect in the research for the MAO A ?-VNTR polymorphism test.2.It has no significant relevance between the MAOA,?-VNTR polymorphism with aggressive behavior in the Yunnan Han and Yi population.3.The population with low degree of eduation and smoking may be the risk factors of aggressive behavior in the Yunnan Han and Yi population.
