| OBJECTIVE:To investigate the difference of the age,sex,tumor staging,tumor infiltration,lymphatic metastasis,distant metastasis,whether to merge high blood pressure between pure colon cancer and colon cancer conbined with type 2 diabetes mellitus.To observe the pression of E-cadherin and Matrix metallopeptidase 9 which belong to epithelial to mesenchymal transition related protein in colon cancer combine with diabetes.METHODS:Collected the sample of were diagnosised of pure colon cancer 48 cases and colon cancer conbined with type 2 diabetes mellitus 40 cases in the first affiliated hospital of guangxi medical university from January 2004 to June 2010,collected the sample of were diagnosised of pure colon cancer 27 cases and colon cancer conbined with type 2 diabetes mellitus 19 cases in the ninth affiliated hospital of guangxi medical university from May 2015 to April 2017,and collected the information of age,sex,tumor staging,whether to merge tumor infiltration,lymphatic metastasis,distant metastasis,high blood pressure of patients.SPSS 13.0 statistical software was used for analysis.35 cases of simple colon cancer patients and 35 cases of colon cancer patients with combined with type 2 diabetes mellitus was picked out randomiy using the Excel random number method,and collected the clinical information of 35 patients who were diagnosed with simple colonic adenoma from the first affiliated hospital of guangxi medical university from January 2004 to June 2010,using immunohistochemical method to detect E-cadherin and Matrix metallopeptidase 9 in the sample.RESULTS:1.The age of patients who was diagnosed as colon cancer with type 2 diabetes mellitus older then colon cancer.2.There was a significant difference in infiltration degree of patients between colon cancer and colon cancer conbined with type 2 diabetes mellitus.In terms of infiltration degree,the patients of simple colon cancer mainly as T3 and T4(66.67%),T3 and T4(83.05%)was the main types of colon cancer combined with type 2 diabetes mellitus.3.Patients with colon cancer with type 2 diabetes mellitus were more likely to have high blood pressure(X2=25.382,P = 0.000)than patients with colon cancer.4.The expression of E-cadherin in colonic adenoma group,colon cancer group and colon cancer group with type 2 diabetes mellitus was statistically different,but there was no significant difference between the two groups.5.Simple colon adenoma and simple colon cancer,type 2 diabetes mellitus combined with colon cancer were significant in statistics,but there was not significant in statistics between simple colon cancer and colon cancer combine with type 2 diabetes mellitus.CONCLUSION:1.The age of patients with colon cancer with type 2 diabetes mellitus was higher than that patients who have colon cancer alone.2.The degree of infiltration of patients with colon cancer with type 2 diabetes mellitus was deeper than that patients who have colon cancer alone.3.The patients who combined with type 2 diabetes mellitus more easily combined with high blood pressure then who have colon cancer alone.4.MMP9 maybe is a indicator between simple colon adenoma and simple colon cancer.5.The process of diabetes affects the development of colon cancer may not depend on E-cadherin and MMP9. |
