Objective: Retrospective analysis of the factors affecting the survival of patients with glioma, summarize the clinical experience in the treatment of glioma. Methods: From January 2013 to September 2015 in the First Affiliated Hospital of Wangnan Medical College, the clinical data of 138 cases of glioma patients, the clinical data of the patients, the extent of tumor resection, postoperative complications, pathological results, postoperative radiotherapy and chemotherapy, the survival time of consolidation, relevant factors on the survival of patients with glioma were statistically analyzed. Results: Single factor analysis of the factors affecting the survival of patients older than 50 years of age: glioma patients survival period was over 50 year old patients was significantly prolonged(p=0.0057);the median survival time and pathological low level group is significantly longer than the survival of high-level group(P < 0.0001);preoperative KPS score of more than 70 patients survival compared to the preoperative KPS score < survival of 70 patients with prolonged(p=0.0003);total resection group survival was significantly longer than the subtotal resection group(p=0.0016);postoperative chemotherapy and survival of patients was significantly better than that of patients without chemotherapy(P < 0.0001).Multivariate COX analysis showed that the extent of tumor resection(P < 0.0001),postoperative radiotherapy and chemotherapy(P = 0.003),preoperative KPS score(P = 0.003),tumor grade(P < 0.0001)was significantly related to 4 factors and survival of glioma patients. Conclusion: Low grade gliomas, the prognosis of patients with preoperative KPS score more than 70 good;adjuvant chemotherapy can significantly prolong the survival of patients, the higher the degree of surgical resection after operation.
