Research Progress Of Acupuncture In The Treatment Of The Complications Related Tobreast Cancer

Objective The progress of acupuncture in the treatment of complications related to breast cancer had been discussed.Methods Pubmed、Embase、 Cochrane library、CNKI、Wanfang database、Chinese biomedical literature database(CBM)had been searched for published literature on the efficacy of acupuncture on breast cancer related complications.Results The complications related to breast cancer such as Cancer related fatigue,hot flush,Nausea and vomiting,Upper limb lymph,Anxiety,Depression and Sleep disorder etc.,seriously affected the life quality of beast cancer survivors.We have collected 32 Clinical trails and 6 meta-analysis,and these published literature had been systematic analysised to detective the effectiveness of acupuncture in the treatment of breast cancer related complications.Among them,there are 8 randomized controlled trials(including pilot and sham-controlled trials)related to cancer-related fatigue,7 for hot flashes,9 for nausea and vomiting caused by chemotherapy or surgery,5 for anxiety and depression,5 focused on acupuncture treating upper limb lymphedema,and the rest 5 trails for sleep disorder.Conclusion Acupuncture can effectively treat the breast cancer-related complications,the effect for nausea and vomiting,limb lymphedema is particularly prominent.And the effect in the treatment for anxiety and depression in breast cancer patients is not clear,more stringent research is needed to identify its curative effect.
