conclusions are described as follows:1 The meaning of purgative methods of warm diseasesPurgative method is one of the TCM eight therapeutic methods which include sweat,vomit,purgation,harmony,warmness,clearness,supplement and elimination.There are a lot of records and discussions on it in ancient books of traditional Chinese medicine.In this part,the main benefits in further enriching the theory of purgative method in diseases prevention and treatment,and improving clinical curative effect,etc.In short,purgative methods are an important means of treating warm diseases and have great significance not only in the existence of human being but also in the guidance of the clinical application.
