Objective: Evaluating the relationship between Tp-e interval and ventricular arrhythmia in patients with chronic heart failure, and its diagnostic value to the CHF patients with ventricular arrhythmia.Method: A total of 129 CHF patients(NYHAII-IV)were collected in cardiovascular medicine in our hospital.According to the presence of ventricular arrhythmia and the type of ventricular arrhythmia,The patients were divided into three groups: ventricular premature contractions group(ventricular premature beats,Single ventricular premature beats> 3000 times /24 hour or appear two law, triple law,multi-source ventricular premature beats and pacing premature,n=36),ventricular tachycardia group(n=40)and group without ventricular arrhythmia(n=53).Incorporating the hospitalized patients(control group,n=67)that have finished the holter check and excluded cardiovascular disease, ion disorder and other related diseases that affected the Tp-e interval in our hospital.Tp-e interval of all selected patients with V2 lead was caculated,at the same time echocardiography and related laboratory findings were collected to evaluate the relationship between the Tp-e interval and ventricular arrhythmia in patients with chronic heart failure.Results:1.The levels of total cholesterol(TC),low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),heart rate, ejection fraction(EF)and left ventricular end diastolic diameter(LVEDd)in chronic heart failure group and control group have significantly statistical differences(P <0.05).There were no statistically significant differences in the remaining observed indexes. The levels of smoking history,NYHA classification,Hemoglobin(Hb),EF value and LVEDd among the three groups in the ventricular tachycardia group, ventricular premature group and group without ventricular arrhythmia have significantly statistical differences(P <0.05).2.There were significant differences in the QT interval,QTc,QRS interval,Tp-e interval and Tp-e/QT ratio between chronic heart failure group and control group(P <0.05).There were significant differences in Tp-e interval and Tp-e / QT ratios in the ventricular tachycardia group, ventricular premature group and group without ventricular arrhythmia group(p<0.05),and with theseverity of ventricular arrhythmia increasing,Tp-e interval and Tp-e /QT ratio increases.3.It has highest sensitivity, specificity and area under the ROC curve in patients with CHF complicated with ventricular arrhythmia when the Tp-e interval was 105 ms and the Tp-e/QT ratio was 0.251.Conclusions: Tp-e interval and Tp-e/QT ration can be used as non-invasive indicators for predicting patients with CHF complicated with ventricular arrhythmia.
