Clinical Effect Study Of The Improved Partial Colpocleisis In Elderly Female Patients With Pelvic Floor Dysfunction

Objective:To explore the clinical effect and feasibility of Improved partial Colpocleisis in elderly Female patients with severe pelvic organ prolapse(POP),accompanied by Stress urinary incontinence(SUI)and other pelvic floor dysfunction symptoms.Methods: Summary of April 2013 to March 2016 treatment in Gansu Provincial Maternity and Child-care Hospital of severe pelvic organ prolapse,and accompanied by varying degrees of stress urinary incontinence in 35 cases of elderly female patients,Were implemented to Improved partial Colpocleisis of the main surgical treatment,To compare the improvement of clinical symptoms such as organ prolapse,stress urinary incontinence,and other urethra,intestinal tract,fall discomfort,safety complications,and new complications etc,before and after surgery.Results: All 35 patients were safely over the perioperative period,followed by follo w-up: very satisfactory to solve the prolapse of 34 cases,accounting for 97.14%,and another case prolapse recurrence 3 months later after the surgery;stress urinary incontinence symptoms disappeared or reduced accounted for 80%(28/35),increased in 4 cases,accounted for 11.42%(4/35);poor urination or urinary accounted for 90%(9/10),Frequent urination or nocturia increased accounted for 84.21%(16/19),dyspepsia or defecation difficulties accounted for 33.33%(4/12),bulging,falling pains or waist trapped 93.33%(14/15).The quality of life has greatly improved of patients after surgery.Conclusions: 1.Improved partial Colpocleisis are Safe,effective,Subjective cure rate is high,for the treatment of Elderly with frail,medical complications,can not tolerate major surgery of severe pelvic organ prolapse.2.Improved partial Colpocleisis can effectively improve the organ prolapse associated with other pelvic floor dysfunction symptoms,such as stress urinary incontinence,urinary frequency urgency,dysuria,lower abdominal pain etc.3.Do not advocate the Colpocleisis at the same time with anti-urinary incontinence surgery,Improved partial Colpocleisis can not only effectively relieve most of the symptoms associated with stress urinary incontinence,may increase or new urinary incontinence reserved Surgical space.4.compared to Transvaginal hysterectomy + Improved partial Colpocleisis,the Improved partial Colpocleisis with bleeding less,shorter operative time.there are no significant difference with follo-up after the treatment of pelvic floor dysfunction.
