Objective: By learning the distribution on body composition and bone miner density of Yao nationality adults,to analyze the correlation between body composition with bone miner density.By this research,it will provide references for evaluating the physical development and bone density of Yao nationality adults in Guangxi scientifically,guiding healthy lifestyle and physical exercise reasonably,it provides important reference data for prevent osteoporosis.Methods: With the informed consent,the samples were randomly chosen from the adults of Yao nationality in Baise and Hezhou Guangxi,aged from 20 to 70 years old.Those 963 adults(471males,492females)were measured by body composition analyzer,including all subjects’ height,weight,fat free mass,upper limbs fat mass,lower limbs fat mass,trunk fat mass,fat mass,upper limbs fat ratio,lower limbs fat ratio,trunk fat ratio,fat ratio,upper limbs muscle mass,lower limbs muscle mass,trunk muscle mass,body muscle mass and body moisture content.The Achilles Express was used to BUA.All the results were input into the SPSS 18.0 statistical package,and then statistics processing were carries on,such as the analysis of variance,descriptive statistics,t-test,pearson analysis,etc.Results:(1)The height,weight,fat free mass,upper limbs muscle mass,lower limbs muscle mass,trunk muscle mass,and body moisture content of Yao people were more than those of females in Guangxi(P<0.05);the body fat mass,upper limbs fat ratio,lower limbs fat ratio,trunk fat ratio,percentage of body fat of Yao people were more than those of males in Guangxi(P<0.05).(2)According to the BMI grouping in male,the BUA result increasing with BMI increased.The BUA of underweight has significant difference in normal,overweight and obesity after the age adjusted(P<0.05)in female;The BUA has no significant difference in normal,mild obesity,moderate obesity and severe obesity(P(29)0.05)according to the BFP grouping in Guangxi adults.The prevalence of OP is 6.71% in obesity,which it higher than that is 5.49% of the normal,the prevalence of osteoporosis are 5.31% and 7.01% between obesity and normal in male.(3)The decline of bone density in males was lower than that in females after 40 years old,and it has differences between male and female(P<0.05).The age is negatively correlated with BMD in Yao people.The weight and trunk muscle mass are positively correlated with BMD in Yao male.The fat free mass,upper limb fat mass,lower limb fat mass,trunk fat mass,fat mass,lower and upper limb fat ratio,trunk fat ratio,body fat ratio,body moisture content,lower and upper limb muscles with BMD were not correlated in male.Height,weight,fat free mass,upper and lower limbs fat mass,upper and lower limbs muscle mass,trunk muscles and body moisture content are positively correlated with BMD in female,and the trunk fat mass,fat mass,upper and lower limbs fat ratio,trunk fat ratio and body fat ratio are not correlated with BMD.(4)There were significant difference in SI between middle-aged and older of Yao female and middle-aged and older people of Zhuang female,and it was significantly higher in all age groups than the middle-aged and older of Zhuang female(P<0.05).Conclusion:(1)There are significant difference of BUA between male and female.(P<0.05).(2)BMI may serve as a potential predictive factor for female osteoporosis,body fat rate is likely to be a risk factor for osteoporosis.(3)The age is negatively correlated with BMD.The body composition of women was closely related to bone mineral density except fat rate,trunk fat mass,fat mass.The weight was closely related to bone mineral density in male.(4)The SI of middle-aged and older people of Yao nationality have some differences in the middle-aged and older people of Zhuang nationality.
