Objective: To investigate the imaging features of dilated cardiomyopathy by MSCT,At the same time, the indexes of cardiac function were measured and compared with the results of echocardiography to evaluate the feasibility and accuracy of MSCT in the analysis of left ventricular function in patients with dilated cardiomyopathy. Methods: To collect the data of MSCT and cardiac function in patients with dilated cardiomyopathy. The selected patients had the results of echocardiography within 3 days.MSCT scan covers the whole heart, using retrospective ECG gating technique. After scanning, the original image with 5%R-R interval interval reconstruction into 20 period cross-sectional image phase, all data transferred postprocessing workstation.According to the left ventricular volume data to determine the corresponding phase of end systolic and end diastolic phase. The corresponding phase images and data were selected to analyze the cardiac function, and the measured left ventricular function indexes were compared with echocardiography,At the same time, use the statistical software for analysis.Results:1 Statistical analysis showed that there was no significant difference in gender distribution among different age groups. In 32 patients,20 males and12 females,More males than females, aged 18-63 years old,the average age is40.13 ± 10.92 years old.2 The CT signs of dilated cardiomyopathy in this group were mainly manifested as left ventricular enlargement, with the enlargement of transverse diameter, ventricular tend to be spherical. In some cases with left atrial enlargement,The left ventricular wall and interventricular septum can bethinned to varying degrees.3 The LVd measured by MSCT in this group is 66.95±8.26 mm,LVs is57.03±9.25 mm,EDV is 271.25±78.76 ml,ESV is188.03±69.99 ml,SV is 82.88±22.24 ml,EF is 32.00±7.69%.The LVd measured by ultrasound is 65.28±8.22 mm,the LVs is 54.98±9.12 mm,EDV is 223.78±62.46 ml,ESV is 152.58±56.29 ml,SV is71.17±17.08 ml,EF is 32.72±7.75%.The results measu-red by MSCT(LVd,LVs,EDV,ESV,SV)are higher than those measured by ultrasound,P<0.001,the difference is statistically significant. The EF measured by MSCT is slightly lower than that measured by ultrasound,P=0.100>0.05,the difference is not statistically significant.4 The results measured by MSCT(LVd,LVs,EDV,ESV,SV,EF)are compared with those measured by ultrasound, and has a strong correlation. The correlation coefficients are 0.898,0.897,0.891,0.890,0.819,0.851.Conclusion:1 Statistical analysis showed no significant difference in gender distribution in different age groups.More than 30-50 years old,Male patients were more than female patients.2 MSCT can be more accurate imaging features of dilated cardiomyopathy.3 MSCT heart function test results are accurate and reliable. It is possible to provide an accurate and feasible left ventricular function information for patients with dilated cardiomyopathy who underwent coronary artery angiography without increasing the amount of radiation and contrast agent.
