Rheumatoid arthritis is a systemic autoimmune disorder affecting primarily the synovial joints.In addition to the joints lesions,there are other extra articular damages in RA patients.Rheumatoid vasculitis is one of the most serious complications of rheumatoid arthritis,which is a pathological process of destruction and inflammation mainly involved in small blood vessels,resulting in vascular occlusion,tissue or organ necrosis.The etiology and pathogenesis of this disease is not yet fully understood.This article will focus on the study of the pathogenesis on auto-antibodies,immune complexes,cytokines and genotype and the treatment of this disease.
