In the incidence of malignant tumors in women, breast cancer ranked the first, which caused serious threat to women's lives and health. The treatment of breast cancer includes surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, endocrine therapy and molecular targeted therapy. With the developing of the treatment of breast cancer, combined use multiple targets for treatment has become a research hotspot.Wild-type p53 gene is a tumor suppressor gene, which genetic mutation is an important factor for the formation of breast cancer.Importing the normal p53 gene can restore the normal functions of p53.Restructuring p53 adenovirus(adenovirus mediated the p53 gene,Ad-p53)is the adenovirus imported with wild-type p53 gene, whose transduction will import normal p53 gene to p53 gene mutation breast cancer cells. The import of p53 gene can promote p53 protein synthesis and restore tumor suppressor function of normal p53.Estrogen receptor(estrogen receptor,ER)plays an important role in the treatment of breast cancer. The starting point of endocrine therapy is the inhibition of ER conduction signals or reduce the number of ER.According to the latest study, the expression of p53 gene and ER mutual can adjust each other. The expression of p53 can promote ER expression, and ER inhibits the function of p53.In this review,we analyzed p53,ER and their relationship in treatment for breast cancer, and this review will contribute to p53,ER double targets treatment for breast cancer.
