Objective Study on the changes of left ventricular structure and function in patients with simple aortic valve insufficiency after aortic valve replacement. Methods Mainly through the method of retrospective study of cardiac surgery General Hospital of Ningxia Medical University 2010-2015 5 years during the closure of the clinical data not all patients underwent aortic valve replacement in 39 cases of aortic valve were analyzed, compared before and after operation in different periods of the results of echocardiography;and changes were observed before and after the operation of left ventricular structure and function.Statistical methods using SPSS 22 software package for data analysis, the use of paired samples t test, independent sample t test between different groups,P<0.05 for the difference was statistically significant. Results The study group of preoperative left ventricular end diastolic diameter(LVEDD)and left ventricular end systolic diameter(LVESD)were higher than normal values, early postoperative(after 3 weeks to six months)and postoperative mid-term(after 1 to 2 years),LVEDD and LVESD were significantly decreased, and early postoperative decrease compared with the medium term;early postoperative left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)was lower than preoperative, but the postoperative metaphase was higher than preoperative. The short axis shortening fraction(FS)in early and middle stage was significantly higher than that before operation. The clinical definition of LVEDD normal value is 35-55 mm,LVEDD is more than 70 mm large left ventricle.According to the preoperative LVEDD size into large left ventricle group(LVEDD?70mm,n=17),A group;non giant left ventricular group(LVEDD<7Omm,n=22),group B.The patients of the A group after the early and middle LVEDD decreased compared with B group, the early left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)of two groups were lower than preoperative in A group decreased slightly after the mid two;group LVEF were significantly higher than that before operation, the B LVEF group than in A group increased greatly.According to the preoperative LVEF divided into left heart dysfunction group(group LVEF<50%,n=8),group C;normal heart function group(group LVEF ?50%,n=31),D group. The LVEDD and LVESD in the early and middle stage of C and D two groups were lower than that before operation,P<0.05,which was statistically significant, and the LVEDD and LVESD in the early and middle stages of the D group were significantly lower than those in the C group. For LVEF and FS,the two groups in the early postoperative period were lower,P>0.05,no statistical significance in C group decreased significantly;after mid LVEF in the two groups were higher than that before operation,P<0.05,have statistical significance, the D group increased significantly, and the left ventricular function and morphology returned to normal. Conclusions Aortic valve replacement has been mature, therefore, the implementation of AVR in AI patients is safe, feasible, both for the preoperative left ventricular damage in structure or function, will be effectively improved.Small sample size of this study group, there exist some shortcomings in clinical research data, the final results of this study may have some influence, discussion and analysis may not be comprehensive,so it still need long-term observation, discussion and verification.
