Purpose: The aim of this research was investigating the clinical and epidemiological characteristics of cirrhosis after hepatitis C,and to explore the influence factor of Hepatitis C cirrhosis. This research provide a scientific basis for clinicians to develop a reasonable treatment plan to reduce cirrhosis and incidence of treatment to improve the efficacy and quality of life of patients. Methods: We Collected 219 patients as the object of study, and these patients diagnosis chronic hepatitis C and cirrhosis after hepatitis C in hospitalization and outpatient in The Third People's Hospital of Jin Cheng form June 2010 to June 2016.For all subjects, there are divided into two groups according to 2015 Updated "Hepatitis C Prevention Guide" and patients with clinical symptoms, such as signs, biochemical tests, imaging findings.Namely the case group for patients with hepatitis C after cirrhosis, the control group for patients with chronic hepatitis C.(ALT,AST,ALB),lipid metabolism(TC,TG)were measured by fasting venous blood, and the body mass index was collected.Fasting blood glucose(FBG)and hepatitis C antibody,HCV-RNA determination, hepatitis C genotyping. Finally, the data were analyzed statistically. Results: The results of this research show that:(1)the ratio of male to female is 1: 1.46,59.36% for female and 40.64% for male respectively.(2)The proportion of patients with cirrhosis after 60 years of age was higher than or equal to 60 years old(62.50%),and the proportion of patients with hepatitis C cirrhosis was 50.70% 27.53%,less than 40 years of age,the proportion of patients with cirrhosis was the smallest, univariate analysis was significant(c2 = 32.390,P <0.001).(3)The proportion of post-hepatitis C patients with cirrhosis was 39.81%,higher than that of patients without cirrhosis(12.50%).(4)The proportion of patients with liver cirrhosis was 40.40%,and the proportion of patients with cirrhosis was 35.29%,the difference was not statistically significant(c2 = 0.514,P = 0.473).(5)the impact of hepatitis C after cirrhosis analysis showed: smoking, diabetes, high blood pressure, not receiving antiviral therapy,AST ?40U/L,PTA<80% and so on can increase the risk of Hepatitis C cirrhosis, the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).Logistic regression analysis showed that the period of diagnosis, presence or absence of symptoms after infection, diabetes, whether antiviral therapy,AST?40U/L,BMI can increase the risk for cirrhosis(P Value <0.05).Conclusion: In the patients with HCV infection, the period of the diagnosis, having obvious symptoms after infection, diabetes, did not receive regular antiviral therapy and obesity will increase the risk of developing cirrhosis.
