Objective: To study the changes in composition of pregnant women and the impact of poor prognosis through the intervention of pregnant women diet. Methods: A total of 1201 pregnant women were enrolled from January2015 to January 2017 in Zhangjiakou wan quan county hospital. They were randomly divided into experimental group and control group. The control group was given a healthy diet education. The experimental group which was on the basis of conventional dietary guidance was regularly given a individual dietary instruction and followed up to delivery, according to the weight situation of pregnant women.Contrast the differences of pregnant body composition and adverse pregnancy outcomes between the experimental group and the control group.Results:1 The experimental group(612 cases, body mass index 24.36 ± 3.74)and the control group(a total of 589 cases, body mass index 24.41 ± 3.64).There was no statistically significant difference in body mass index before pregnancy(P=0.17),and also the age was not statistically significant(P=0.26)(Table 1).2 The experimental group(353 urban population,259 rural population)and the control group(343 urban population,246 rural population). There was no significant difference in the proportion of urban and rural areas(P=0.78)(Table 2).3 In the experimental group, the body weight gain lower than the normal range was 15 cases, the weight gain in normal was 576 cases, the weight gain higher than the normal range was 21 cases.Compared with the control group, the weight gain lower than the normal range was 34 cases, the normal weight gain was 386 cases, the weight gain higher than the normal range was 169 cases. There was statistically significant difference between the experimental group and the control group(P=0.000)(Table 3).4 In the experimental group(38 cases)compared with the control group(65 cases),the difference of the adverse outcome of pregnant women was statistically significant(P=0.01)(Table 4-6).5 In all the subjects of the late pregnancy about adverse outcome, there were 25 cases in weight gain less than the normal range,48 cases in normal weight gain range, and 30 cases in weight gain higher than the normal range.Multiple comparisons between groups were statistically significant(P=0.000)(Table 7).6 Comparison of body composition between the experimental group and the control group found that body fat, body fat percentage, visceral fat,hip circumference, abdominal circumference, lean body mass, skeletal muscle, bone mineral content, mineral content and protein have significant difference statistically(P=0.000,0.000,0.002,0.000,0.01,0.03,0.01,0.000,0.000,0.000)(Table 8).Conclusion:1 Diet intervention can reduce the adverse pregnancy outcomes of pregnant women.2 Diet intervention can effectively control the weight gain of pregnant women.3 Increased body fat, body fat percentage, visceral fat,hip circumference, abdominal circumference can promote poor pregnancy outcomes of pregnant women.4 Effective control of the diet can increase lean body mass, skeletal muscle, bone mineral content, mineral content and protein quality of pregnant women, those are more conducive to fetal growth.
