Objective: The use of multi slice CT(MSCT)reconstruction sagittal images of vestibular aqueduct diameters were measured,to investigate the application in diagnosis of LVAS.On the sagittal plane of the reconstructed image,the width of the middle part of the vestibular aqueduct was measured,and the reference range of 95% was set up.This paper explore the law and explore the feasibility of the sagittal position as the diagnostic standard.Metheods: To collect 80 cases of normal controls,male and female,aged from9 months to 72 years,there were no abnormal hearing.The temporal bone of MSCT scanning,using isotropic technology and after treatment of income including MPR,restructuring of bilateral vestibular guide water sagittal images calculated aqueduct hind full display rate.Measurement of vestibular aqueduct in recombinant sagittal images on the middle of the width,as both sides and gender groups.The left and right sides and male and female group data were statistically analyzed to see whether there was no statistical significance,and the establishment of 95% medical reference range.The other to collect clinical manifestations of 16 cases of abnormal hearing,temporal bone MSCT scanning,axial measurement,the preliminary diagnosis LVAS,using isotropic technology,including MPR post-processing,recombinant on both sides of the vestibular aqueduct sagittal images recorded aqueduct in the middle width value,and observation were statistically analyzed with normal subjects.Results: 1.MPR reconstructed sagittal images of the vestibular aqueduct was higher than that of direct axial image scan rate.2.The normal vestibular aqueduct reorganization sagittal images no statistically significant difference in the left and right sides and gender.3.The normal group in the middle of aqueduct width reorganization sagittal direction 95% of the medical reference range: left 0.49-0.98 mm right 0.52-1.03 mm.4.16 cases of clinical diagnosis for patients with abnormal hearing,the initial diagnosis of axial measurement for patients with LVAS,the recombinant sagittal middle range from 1.2mm to 3.9 mm,there was significant difference compared with the normal group.Conclusion: 1.In the reorganization of the vestibular aqueduct on the sagittal axis is directly displayed more in line with the anatomical morphology,reflect the size of the vestibular aqueduct is more accurate,and formulate the reorganization of the sagittal vestibular aqueduct width value of 95% medical reference range.2.Vestibular aqueduct in sagittal reconstruction on the intermediate width value is greater than or equal to 1.1mm,to expand the diagnosis of vestibular aqueduct.At the same time with abnormal hearing and the corresponding clinical history,diagnosis of large vestibular aqueduct syndrome.
