Objective Western of Inner Mongolia is a high risk area of gastric cancer, but it has been lack of detailed clinical and pathological data of gastric cancer. Our hospital is one of the largest gastric cancer diagnosis and treatment center in the west of Inner Mongolia,This study was designed to investigate the characteristics of clinical data of patients with gastric cancer in the west of Inner Mongolia at our hospital over the past ten years. Methods Data of 2049 cases of gastric cancer patients from 2007.01.01 to 2017.01.01 in our hospital was retrospectively analyzed for their clinical characteristics. Results Of the 2049 patients,1619 cases(79.01%)were male and 430 cases(20.99%)were female, and the mean age was 60.94±10.90 years old.The cancer location was mainly on the antrum,830 cases, accounting for 40.51%.Different ages of gastric cancerlocation constituent ratiowas different, the difference was significant(?~2=58.583,P=0.000).Cancer of the Cardia and stomach fundus ratio gradually increases with age.Location of gastric carcinoma of different sex ratio is different, the difference was significant(?~2=9.902,P=0.042).Poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma was a majority histological type,922 cases, accounting for45.00%.Different ages of histological classification and the differentiation constituent ratio was different, the difference was significant(?~2=102.866,P=0.000).Higher malignancy of stomach carcinoma in the young.Early gastric cancer in 181 cases, accounting for 8.83%.The majority pathologic type of advanced gastric cancers were Bormann ?,1167 cases, accounting for 57.00%.?+? stage was a majority TNM stage, accounting for 72.82 %.Different ages of TNM stage was different, the difference was significant(?~2=11.946,P=0.008).Of the 130 Mongoloid patients,106 cases(81.54%)were male and 24 cases(18.46%)were female, and the mean age was 61.25±11.38 years old. There is no differences between the Han nationality and Mongolian of the age and gender(t=0.314,P=0.754).Mongolian patients age ratio and Han were similar, the difference was not statistically significant(? 2=1.716,P=0.633).The cancer location was mainly on the cardia and fundus in Mongolian patients,55 cases, accounting for 42.31%.Different nationality of gastric cancer location constituent ratio was different, the difference was significant(?~2=10.054,P=0.033).Poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma was a majority histological type,67 cases, accounting for 51.54%.Compared with the Han and Mongolian patients, the malignant level was different, the difference was significant(?~2=16.586,P=0.000).Mongolian patients age ratio and Han were similar in TNM stage, the difference was not statistically significant.Gastric cancer in patients with ABO blood type similar to the distribution of blood types among healthy population in Hohhot in Inner Mongolia, the difference was not statistically significant(?~2=1.593,P=0.661).Conclusion Advanced gastric cancer is a majority type of patients with gastric cancer in west of Inner Mongolia.Gastric cancer has a higher incidence in old male.Poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma and cancer in antrum have a larger probability.Proximal gastric cancer incidence increases with age.Compared with old patients, there is higher malignant cancer and earlier TNM stage in young patients with gastric cancer.Gastric cancer has a higher incidence in Mongolian old male.Poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma and cancer in cardia and stomach fundus have a larger probability in Mongolian patients.Mongolian patients and Han patients showed no significant difference in TNM stage. No significant correlation between ABO blood group and gastric cancer.
