Expressions And Clinical Significances Of LIFR?MMP12 In Gallbladder Carcinoma

Objective:To investigate the expressions and clinical significances of leukemia inhibitory factor receptor(LIFR)?matrix metalloproteinase 12(MMP12)in gallbladder carcinoma.Methods:Used immunohistochemical staining methods(Envision two-step Visualization Systems)to detect the expressions of LIFR?MMP12 in 50 cases of gallbladder carcinoma and the matched normal gallbladder lesion cases.Results:The expressions of LIFR?MMP12 were identified in 38.0%(19/50)?36.0%(18/50)of gallbladder carcinoma cases,and in 82.0%(41/50)?86.0%(43/50)of matched normal gallbladder lesion cases.Among the 50 cases of gallbladder carcinoma,the expressions of LIFR?MMP12 were identified in 17.9%(5/28)?17.9%(5/28)of stage ? and ?gallbladder carcinoma,and in 63.6%(14/22)?59.1%(13/22)of stage ? and ? gallbladder carcinoma;the expressions of LIFR?MMP12 were identified in 14.8%(4/27)?11.1%(3/27)of gallbladder carcinoma combined lymph node metastases,and in 65.2%(15/23).65.2%(15/23)of gallbladder carcinoma without lymph node metastases.The expressions of LIFR in gallbladder carcinoma cases and the matched normal gallbladder lesion cases were positively correlated with MMP12.Positive rate of LIFR and MMP12 expression in gallbladder carcinoma cases,the survival rate of them was higher than that in negative cases.Conclusions:The expressions of LIFR?MMP12 in gallbladder carcinoma were significantly lower than those in matched normal gallbladder lesions;Expressions of LIFR andMMP12 in stage ? and IV gallbladder carcinoma were lower than those in stage ?and ? gallbladder carcinoma.Expressions of LIFR and MMP12 in gallbladder carcinoma without lymph node metastases were lower than those in gallbladder carcinoma combined lymph node metastases.The lower expressions of LIFR?MMP12 may play an important role in the fields of occurrence,development and metastasis of gallbladder carcinoma.LIFR and MMP12 may be used as important makers for the prognosis of gallbladder carcinoma.
