Objective: To treat patients with Q i deficiency and blood stasis syndrome in the elderly with H type hypertension by observing the blood pressure, serum homocysteine, and Chinese medicine Syndromes and other indicators,in order to assess the clinical efficacy and safety of this treatment. Methods: A total of 68 elderly patients with H-type hypertension were enrolled in this study and then numbered.According to the random number table, they were divided into control group and treatment group,34 cases respectively. But during the treatment, there were 5 shedding and exclusion cases, and finally, there are 31 cases in control group,32 cases in treatment group, the tota l cases are 63.The control group of patients choose Irbesartan / Hydrochlorothiazide tablets(French Sanofi-Aventis Group),150 mg / 12.5mg,1 tablet / time,1 time / day.Folic acid(Tianjin Lisheng Production),5mg,1 tablet / time,1 time / day;the treatment group plus Jia Bu Yang Huanwu Decoctionin combination with auricular pointtherapy.14 days for the course of treatment, after the end of the course of treatment to record the patient's clinical symptoms, blood pressure,TCM symptoms, and serum homoc ysteine levels. The results will be recorded using statistical methods for analysis, which could scientifically evaluate the clinical treatment. Results: 1.Blood pressure comparison results in the morning: The therapeutic effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group in controlling the systolic pressure and diastolic pressure(P<0.01).2.Comparison results of total effective pressure reduction: the control group's effective rate is 90.32%,and the treatment group's effective rate is 96.88%,the treatment group's effective rate is better than that of the control group.(P<0.05).3.Comparison results of serum Homocysteine between two groups after treatment: P values of both groups were less than 0.01 within the group, suggesting that both groups can effectively reduce serum homocysteine. After comparison,P <0.05 between two group's patients, suggesting that the treatment group has better efficacy than the control group in reducing serum homocysteine.4.The results of total effective rate of TCM syndrome, the effective rate of the control group is 64.52%,and the effective rate of the treatment group is 90.63%,the treatment group's effective rate is better than the control group(P<0.05).5.Comparison results of single syndrome in Chinese medicine: The treatment effect of the treatment group in dizziness, headache, fatigue, anorexia, and heart palpitations are better than that in the control group(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference in the treatment effect of shortness of breath and insomnia symptoms(P>0.05).6.Before and after treatment the patients of two groups has run the paired sample t-tests for safety items.Pvalues were bigger than 0.05,there was no statistically significant difference between the two groups, suggesting that no serious adverse reactions occurred during treatment of the two groups, the patients of the two groups received treatment and security is guaranteed. Conclusion: The treatment of Modified Buyang Huanwu Decoction combined with auricular acupressure bean can effectively control the blood pressure level of elderly patients with H-type hypertension, reduce the serum homocysteine, and actively improve the patients with Qi deficiency and blood stasis type.Symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine, and ensure its safety,it is worthy of clinical application.
