| Objective:In our country,apheresis platelets are the major donor components of blood donation.Since the platelet donation process takes a long time and is less accepted by the public,our blood donation team mainly relies on fixed blood donors,accounting for more than 75%.According to GB18467,Time interval for people who can donate blood platelet is at least every 2 weeks with maximum 24 times in a year.In general,they donate from 3 to 24 times in a year.A man who donated most in Hangzhou is reported that his donation times has been up to 199 until the age of 60 the year he terminates blood donation.Their long-term dedication,is very incredible and difficult for ordinary people to achieve feat,and made important contributions to society.However,in domestic,very few research has been performed on indication of how much impact of long-term donation on the body,which indicators will change,whether the times of blood donation in each year will be different,whether the input of ACD will affect the coagulation function of the donors due to the preservation requirements of apheresis platelets in case that some of the anticoagulant ACD will be transfused back into the donor’s body during each donation.Systematic investigation was also not reported.Thus,in this study we selected a part of blood donation volunteers who participate the components blood donation in 2016 to investigate their screening qualification of physical examination,the changes of blood cell count and TEG index.Methods:We investigated the distribution of age and sex,the blood donation frequency,screening qualification of physical examination for the apheresis platelet blood donors in blood center of Zhejiang Province in a year.Statistical analysis was performed to find the reason of disqualification.Male blood donors donated up to 24 times in 2016 and female blood donors donated up to 20 times in 2016 were selected to investigate all changes of CBC;Blood donors were divided into 5 groups with 50 members each group according to the times of blood donation which means blood donors who donated ltime in a year be group A,6~10 times in a year be group B,11~15 times in a year be group C,16~20 times in a year be group D,more than 21 times be group E.For each group,the whole blood count before and after the last donation was measured respectively,the corresponding detected Hb,Hct,RBC,MCV,RDW,PLT,MPV,PDW indicators of group B,C,D,E were compared with those of group A to investigate the difference of blood cell count index;TEG before and after the last donation was measured respectively to analyze effect of platelet donation process for coagulation of blood donors and investigate the blood coagulation function changes in each step by group comparison.Results:1.This year the apheresis platelet donors in the team,the sex ratio was 68.6%,31.4%,the age distribution in the 18~35 years of age accounted for relatively high,was 65.2%,and increased with age,gradually reduced the number of blood donors.The total number of blood donation distribution,the first blood donation accounted for 53.4%,2~10 and 11~30 times accounted for 35.1%,8.5%,and the remaining with the increase in frequency,accounting for gradually reduced,of which 51-200 times only 1.3%.Apheresis platelet donors a year since the examination pass rate reached 96.5%,with high blood pressure out of the highest proportion reached 63.9%,a year to the blood donor screening test qualified rate was 85.6%,the unqualified reason to alanine aminotransferase high,low platelet count,hematocrit,hemoglobin is mainly low there are more than 10%.2.Within a year of blood donation reached the number of blood cell count results of 24 male blood donors,hemoglobin(Hb)and hematocrit(Hct)changes were basically the same,the magnitude of changes in early stage,in the later period was relatively stable,the platelet count(PLT)changes in the early small,big fluctuations in themid later returned to a stable range,white blood cell count(WBC)fluctuation was relatively stable,around a mean value of fluctuation.Blood cell counting results within one year of blood donation reached 20 female blood donors,hemoglobin(Hb)and hematocrit(Hct)changes were basically the same,around a mean wavy change,platelet count(PLT)amplitude at early stage,in the later period was relatively stable,white blood cells(WBC)counting was around a mean fluctuation.3.Before blood donation and after blood donation,except for the change of PLT,the parameters of Hb,Hct,RBC,MCV,RDW,MPV and PDW were not significantly different in the blood cell count index.Comparing among the groups before blood donation,for blood cell count index,compared with A,Hb,Hct of Egroup had significant difference,slightly low,compared to C,D group PLT was significant difference between A and C group,D group is slightly high,slightly lower,C,E group compared to RBC group A significantly the difference,B group of MCV,RDW significantly compared to A group,slightly smaller;after blood donation,in addition to the above groups compared to A group,D group,E PLT group had significant difference compared to A,slightly lower.4.After blood donation TEG index R,K,Angle,MA and CI were significantly different;blood group compared with TEG index,B,C,E,compared with A group,no significant difference,compared with D group and A group,K and Angle had significant difference;after the donation,D group,K Angle,MA and Cl data compared with the A group there were significant differences,showing relatively low coagulation state.Conclusions:1.Of the apheresis platelets volunteer blood donors,men accounted for relatively high,the number of blood donors showed inverse relationship with age,blood donors and the total number of times also showed an inverse relationship,screening qualified rate of physical examination need to be improved,according to the different unqualified reasons,we can reduce the blood out of the through proper publicity and education.2.The blood count of the donors with the greatest number of blood donation in a year showed a steady state,and the fluctuation of some indicators was slightly larger,but it could be maintained within a certain range.3.The platelet count of blood donors decreased significantly after the apheresis platelet donation,blood cell count index of repeated donors did not change regularly compared with that of first time donors,considered that scientific and reasonable platelet donation had no significant impact on the blood index of healthy people.4.For blood donors,TEG parameters may change due to ACD transfusion after the donation,however,those can maintained in the normal reference range;TEG parameters of repeated donors(group B,C,D,E)did not change regularly compared with that of first time donors(group A)indicated that long-term platelet donation did not lead to changes of blood coagulation function. |
