?Aims? To investigate the clinical significance of tumor tissue-infiltrating CC and CXC family chemokines expression in non-small cell lung cancer?NSCLC?microenvironment, their relationship with clinicopathological features and progression of NSCLC.?Materials and methods?Fresh tissue samples were acquired from 50 patients with NSCLC after operation. Then,we quantified the total protein with The BCA Protein Assay Kit and tested 13chemotactic factors with The CBA Kit in paired-samples including tumor tissues, tumor adjacent tissues and normal tissues.?Results?1.We found that CC family of MCP-1,MIP-1?,MIP-1?,MIP-3?and CXC family of IL-8,GRO?,IP-10,MIG expressions in tumor tissues were significantly higher than those in tumor adjacent tissues and normal tissues;However,RANTES,TARC,CCL11,I-TAC and ENA-78 expressions did not found significant difference.2.Analysing of tumor tissue chemokine expression level relationship with clinicopathological characteristics,we found CC family of MIP-1?,MIP-1?expression was significantly lower in adenocarcinoma;MIP-1?was significantly higher expression in no distant metastasis tumor tissue;CXC family of IL-8 expression was significantly higher in non-adenocarcinoma tumor tissue,diameter?7cm tumor tissue and?-?tumor tissue;IP-10 expression was significantly lower in age<60 tumor tissues and distant metastasis tumor tissues;MIG expression was significantly lower in in adenocarcinoma tumor tissue and distant metastasis tissue;MCP-1,MIP-3?was found no statistically significant difference.3.Analyzing the influence of chemokine expression level in tumor tissue on disease progression,we found median progression-free survival?mPFS?of patients with GRO?high was significantly lower than those with GRO?low;mPFS of patients with IP-10low was significantly lower than those with IP-10high;mPFS of patients with MIGlow was significantly lower than those with MIGhigh;However,MCP-1,MIP-1?,MIP-1?,MIP-3?and IL-8 had no significant value to elevate mPFS of patients with NSCLC.?Conclusion?1.CC family of MCP-1,MIP-1?,MIP-1?,MIP-3?and CXC family of IL-8,GRO?,IP-10,MIG expressions in tumor tissues were significantly higher than those in tumor adjacent tissues and normal tissues2.The expression levels of GRO?,IP-10 and MIG in CXC family in tumor microenvironment are closely related to the progression of NSCLC.
