Chapter 1: The expression level of MLL1 in pituitary adenoma.Objective: To research the expression of MLL1 in pituitary adenoma.Methods: Immunohistochemistry was used to detect MLL1 expression level in 111 cases of pituitary adenoma.Wilcoxon rank sum test was used to analyze the relationship between the expression of MLL1 and age and sex in pituitary adenomas.Results: In this experiment,MLL1 was positive in pituitary adenoma,22 cases were negative expression,89 cases were positive expression,he positive expression rate was about 80.18%.The positive expression of MLL1 in 55 year old group 53/68 cases about 77.94%,more than 56 years old group 36/43 cases about 83.72%.According to the Wilcoxon test analysis the relationship between the expression of MLL1 and age,Z=-1.594,p=0.111 > 0.05,?=0.05 in accordance with the inspection standards,the difference was not statistically significant,nostatistics relationship between expression of MLL1 and age.The positive expression of MLL1 in male group was about 78.57% in 44/56 cases,and in female group was about 81.82% in 45/55 cases.According to the Wilcoxon test analysis the expression of MLL1 in different sex groups of patients with pituitary adenoma,Z=-0.372,p=0.710 > 0.05,?=0.05 in accordance with the inspection standards,the difference was not statistically significant,that there was no significant difference in expression of MLL1 and gender.Conclusion: In this experiment,the expression of MLL1 was higher in pituitary adenoma,the positive expression rate was about 80.18%.The expression of MLL1 has no significant relevance to the patients age and gender in pituitary adenoma.Chapter 2: Expression and correlation of MLL1,p53 and Ki-67 in pituitary adenomasObjective: To research the relationship between the expression of MLL1 and p53 and Ki-67 in pituitary adenomas by detecting the expression of MLL1,p53 and Ki-67 in pituitary adenoma.Methods: Immunohistochemistry was used to detect the expression of MLL1,p53 and Ki-67 in 111 cases of pituitary adenomas.Wilcoxon rank sum test was used to analyze the relationship between the expression of MLL1 and the expression of p53 and the expression of Ki-67 in pituitary adenomas.Results: In this experiment,the expression of p53 was positive in pituitary adenoma,19 cases were positive,92 cases were negative,positive expression rate was about 17.12%.In this experiment,Ki-67 was positive in pituitary adenoma,80 cases were positive,31 cases were negative,positive expression rate was about 72.07%.According to the Wilcoxon rank test the relationship with the expression of p53 and the expression of MLL1 in pituitary adenomas,Z=-3.419,?=0.05,p=0.001 < 0.05,in accordance with the inspection standards,the difference was statistically significant,the expression of MLL1 was correlated with the expression of p53.According to the Wilcoxon rank test the relationship with the expression of Ki-67 and the expression of MLL1 in pituitary adenomas,Z=-2.624,?=0.05,p=0.009 < 0.05,in accordance with the inspection standards,the difference was statistically significant,the expression of MLL1 was correlated with the expression of Ki-67.Conclusion: The expression of MLL1 has significant relevance to the expression of p53 and the expression of Ki-67 in pituitary adenoma.Chapter 3: To research the correlation between the expression of MLL1 and classification of pituitary adenoma.Objective: To research the expression of MLL1 in different grades of pituitary adenomas and the relationship between the expression of MLL1 and classification of pituitary adenoma.Methods: According to Hardy-Wilson and Knosp classification,111 specimens were classified into invasive pituitary adenoma(IPA)group(96cases)and no invasive pituitary adenoma(NIPA)group(15 cases).The Knosp classification method in III ~ IV grade or Hardy grade III,IV and V or Wilson C,D,E classification of pituitary tumor stage classified as invasive pituitary adenomas,the remaining non invasive pituitary adenoma.According to the WHO classification standard,111 specimens were classified into typical pituitary adenoma group(74 cases)and atypical pituitary adenoma group(37 cases).Wilcoxon rank sum test was used to analyze the relationship between the expression of MLL1 and the expression of p53 and the expression of Ki-67 in pituitary adenomas.Chi square test was used to analyze the relationship between the expression of MLL1 and the classification of pituitary adenoma.Results: According to the Chi square test the relationship with the expression of MLL1 and the iconography classification of pituitary adenomas,Chi square value is 0.459,p=0.498 > 0.05,after correction,Fisher exact test,p=0.731 > 0.05,? =0.05,in accordance with the inspection standards,the difference was no statistically significant.There was no significant correlation between the expression of MLL1 and the iconography classification of pituitary adenoma.According to the Chi square test the relationship with the expression of MLL1 and the pathobiology classification of pituitary adenomas,Chi square value is4.790,p=0.029<0.05,after correction,Fisher exact test,p=0.042 <0.05,?=0.05,in accordance with the inspection standards,the difference was statistically significant,the expression of MLL1 was correlated with the pathobiology classification of pituitary adenoma.Conclusion: There was no significant correlation between the expression of MLL1 and the iconography classification of pituitary adenoma.The expression of MLL1 has significant relevance to the the pathobiology classification of pituitary adenoma.
