The Clinical Research On The Therapeutic Effect Of Baihu Jia Renshen Decoction In Treating Elderly Community Acquired Pneumonia(Stagnation Of Phlegm-heat In The Lung Type With Deficiency Of Qi And Yin)

Objective:To apply Baihu Jia Renshen Decoction with conventional therapy of Western medicine to treat the aged patients with the community-acquired pneumonia(CAP),which are belong to the syndrome of phlegm-heat obstructing lung with deficiency of both qi and yin,to compare the comprehensive curative effect,integral of TCM symptom,Inflammatory correlation index,chest X-ray scan,and other indexes of the two groups of patients before and after treatment,and to discuss the curative clinical effect of Baihu Jia Renshen Decoction to treat the The CAP in the elderly phlegm-heat obstructing lung with deficiency of both qi and yin.Method:60 patients with The CAP in the elderly(phlegm-heat obstructing lung with deficiency of both qi and yin)were included to be divided into observation group(30 patients)and control group(30 patients)randomly.The patients in the observation group were treated with Baihu Jia Renshen Decoction with conventional therapy of Western medicine,while the patients in the treatment group were treated with conventional therapy of Western medicine.Then comprehensive curative effect,integral of TCM symptom,Inflammatory correlation index,entire chest scan,etc.of the patients were observed 1 weeks after treatment.And the results were statistically analyzed by spss22.0,so as to evaluate the clinical curative effect of Baihu Jia Renshen Decoction to treat The CAP in the elderly(phlegm-heat obstructing lung with deficiency of both qi and yin).Results:1.The clinical curative effect of diseases:after 7 days of treatment,the clinical effective rate of the observation group was 100%,while the clinical effective rate of the treatment group was 70%.It was shown from statistical analysis that the observation group had better curative effect(P<0.01).2.TCM curative effect of diseases:after 7 days of treatment,the total effective rate of syndrome of Chinese medicine for the observation group was 100%,while the total effective rate of syndrome of Chinese medicine for the treatment group was 86.7%.It was shown from statistical analysis that the results had apparent significance.3.Curative effect of single TCM symptom:the all single TCM symptom for the two groups of patients before treatment had no significant difference(P>0.05),which presented the two groups of patients had comparability.The comparison in the group after 7 days of treatment showed that the symptoms including fever,cough,cough up phlegm,feverishness in palms and soles,thirst,pant,weak,etc.for the two groups of patients were apparently improved,and the symptom of chest pain for the observation group was improved significantly,in the meantime,the comparison between the two groups showed that the curative effect in the aspects of fever,cough,amount of expectoration,feverishness in palms and soles,thirst,pant and weak for the observation group was apparently superior to that for the control group,while the curative eff'ect in the aspects of lung rale for the two groups were equivalent.4.indexes related to inflammation:the indexes related to inflammation for the two groups of patients before treatment had no significant difference(P>0.05),presenting the two groups of patients had comparability.The comparison in the group after 7 days of treatment showed that white blood cell count,neutrophilic granulocyte percentage,hypersensitivity C-reactive protein were apparently improved.In the meantime,the comparison between the two groups showed that the improvement in the aspects of white blood cell count and neutrophilic granulocyte percentage for the observation group was apparently superior to that for the control group,while the improvement in the aspect of hypersensitivity C-reactive protein for the two groups were equivalent.Conclusion:the statistical analysis on the clinical research data results showed that Baihu Jia Renshen Decoction had significant curative effect in treating The CAP in the elderly(phlegm-heat obstructing lung with deficiency of both qi and yin),it apparently reduced the total integral of TCM symptom of the patients,improved single TCM symptom(fever,cough,amount of expectoration,feverishness in palms and soles,thirst,pant.and weak),and significantly reduced the indexes related to inflammation(white blood cell count,neutrophilic granulocyte percentage),without apparent adverse reactions.Therefore it is worthy of promoting in clinic.
