Qualitative Research On Traditional Chinese Medicine Apprentice Education’s Influence Factor And Mechanism Of Action

Traditional Chinese medicine apprentice education was main mode for the inheritance and development of traditional Chinese medicine,Before the founding of new China.Even today,education is the mainstream of education,we explore the path of famous doctors and find that they all have the experience of learning from others.It can be seen that Traditional Chinese medicine apprentice education is important in the cultivation of talents and the inheritance of TCM.The apprentice is the direct beneficiary in TCM apprentice education.So this article starts,from the perspective of the apprentice,which study the influencing factors and the related aspects of mechanism of action.This study aimed to explore a model,which illustrated both influencing factors of the effect of TCM apprentice education and the role of the inheritance of traditional Chinese medicine and personal cultivation.The paper focuses on qualitative research.Firstly,the researchers interviewed nine apprentices with relevant experience of TCM apprentice education;and then encoded the interview materials based on Constructing Grounded Theory;Finally,form a complete theoretical framework.The results demonstrated that:1.There are three factors influencing the effect of TCM apprentice education1)Influence of the master.Its contents include:master’s personal characteristics;master’s competence;The attitude and manner of the master to his apprentices;and master’s academic background and loyalty.2)Influence of the apprentice.Its contents include:the difference of basic knowledge;the differences of value orientation;And the different individual of the apprentice.3)Other influences.Its contents include:the time and efficiency of TCM apprentice education;The structure and setting of the division;formation of learning alliance;and the normalization of the form of TCM apprentice education.2.The role of the inheritance of traditional Chinese medicine and personal cultivation.1)Inheritance of TCM.Its contents include:traditional reservation;Theory and practice are equal;The inheritance of Tao and art;And personalized culture.2)Personal cultivationIts contents include:professional knowledge;Relationships;Mental activities;Material benefits.3)Mutual benefit between Chinese medicine and individuals.
