BackgroundGastric cancer is the third most cancer-related cause of death, with a high incidence.severe chronic atrophic gastritis is considered a precancerous lesion of gastric cancer. Therefore, monitoring of atrophic gastritis and blocking progress is the key of the prevention of early gastric cancer, select gastroscope follow-up,in patients with atrophic gastritis patients pain, high cost, must be compliance of faults, limits its application in mass screening for gastric cancer early, and serological detection, especially the PG method is simple, the advantages of high adherence, noninvasive,in South Korea,Japan and other countries has been used in screening of early gastric cancer and precancerous lesions, and our country in serological screening for gastric cancer and precancerous lesions in research are relatively few.ObjectiveTo improve the det rate of atrophic gastritis, serum gastrin-17(G-17),pepsinogen I and II(PGs)were evaluated for screeectionning of chronic atrophic gastritis.MethodsFrom October,2016 to November,2017,a total of 236 cases of patients were enrolled in our study, all patients have stomach discomfort or upper digestive disease symptoms.According to the results of histopathological diagnosis, the group was divided into a group of 110 cases of atrophic gastritis and a control group of 126 non-atrophic gastritis patients. The diagnosis was made by combining endoscopy and pathology results,G-17,PGs and PGR value were measured to evaluate their value in diagnosing chronic atrophic gastritis.ResultsAmong 236 patients, the PGI and PGR levels of 110 cases atrophic gastritis were lower than that in 126 cases of non-atrophic gastritis patients(P<0.05);the PGI and PGR levels of severe atrophic gastritis group were lower than that of moderate atrophic gastritis and mild atrophic gastritis groups, but the difference between them was not significant(P>0.05).The G-17 level in of atrophic gastritis group were lower than that in gastric body atrophic groups, but the difference between them was not significant(P>0.05).According to ROC curve analysis,we noted that the optimal threshold of serum PGI and PGR in diagnosis of atrophic gastritis is 85.61 ug/L,7.1 respectively.ConclusionThe levels of G-17,PGI and PGR in the atrophic gastritis group were lower than those in the non-atrophic gastritis group, while there was no statistically significant difference between the g-17 levels in the two groups(P>0.05),and the difference between PGI and PGR was statistically significant(P<0.05).Distal gastric atrophy group G-17 levels below the atrophy of gastric body, gastric atrophy group(P<0.05),gastric atrophy group of PGI,PGR levels below distal gastric atrophy, full stomach more focal atrophy group(P<0.05),the above results show that the G-17,PGI and PGR for serological markers,PGI and PGR value can effectively distinguish between atrophy and the atrophic gastritis group,G-17,PGI and PGR has significant diagnostic performance of atrophy.
