Objective:To explore the correlation between oxidative stress index of obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome?OSAHS?in different hypoxia status and bone metabolism.Methods:according to measure apnea hypopnea index?AHI?of testing targets by polysomnography,the OSAHS patients were divided into three groups:mild?20cases?,moderate?19 cases?,severe?16 cases?,and measure the parameters of oxidative stress indexes,bone metabolic markers and bone mineral density for three groups and normal control group?28 cases?,researching the correlation oxidative stress index of OSAHS patients in different degree affect bone metabolism by the comparison among the groups.Results:No significant different in calcium,phosphorus,body mass index?BMI?,ages between OSAHS and normal control group,There was a significant difference in lowest oxygen saturation?LSaO2?among the groups.Comparing mild,moderate severe OSAHS groups with normal control group,with the increase of the disease,the level of total antioxidant capacity?T-AOC?,glutathione peroxidase?GSH-PX?and superoxide dismutase?SOD?gradually decreased,but the level in malondialdehyde?MDA?,N-terminal pre-peptide of type?collage?PINP?and C-terminal peptide of type?collage??-CTX?gradually increased,there were significant difference among the groups.The comparison of bone mineral density in femoral neck and lumbar vertebra:no different in bone mineral density of femoral neck and lumbar vertebra between mild OSAHS and normal control group.the comparison between mild OSAHS,normal control group and severe OSAHS group,the comparison between moderate OSAHS and normal control group,which is a significant difference.In the OSAHS group,Pearson correlation analysis showed a significant negative correlation between the level in T-AOC,GSH-PX,SOD and AHI,and a significant positive correlation between the level in MDA?PINP??-CTX and AHI,which negatively correlated with LSaO2.The linear correlation showed a significant negative correlation between the level in T-AOC?SOD and PINP or?-CTX,and a significant positive correlation between the level in MDA and PINP or?-CTX.Conclusion:OSAHS broken the balance of pro-oxidant and anti-oxidant,leading to decrease the capacity of anti-oxidant,which destroyed the balance of bone metabolism,bone mineral density decreased,happened the osteoporosis with the correlation of hypoxia status.
