Clinical Effect Of Thoracic Surgery For Thymoma

Objective:To analyze the clinical effect of thoracic surgery and thoracic surgery in patients with early and middle stage thymoma.Methods:The clinical data of 96 patients with thymoma from thoracic surgery were collected from 2012 to 2016.The patients in the control group underwent thoracotomy for operation.The observation group was treated with video-assisted thoracic surgery(VATS).Comparison of the two groups of patients with clinical treatment.Results:The intraoperative blood loss,tumor volume,postoperative ICU occupancy rate,postoperative hospital stay and drainage time were less than those in the control group(89.0±64.9)ml,(85.6±74.8)cm3,72.9%(6.0±4.8)d,(4.4±3.2)d and(121.6±64.0)ml,(157.0±153.7)cm~3,97.3%,(8.0±4.7)d and(5.8±3.3)d,respectively.Thediastolicdiameter,operationtime,postoperative ventilator-assisted breathing time,ICU hospitalization time,postoperative total drainage and hospitalization cost were(6.3±2.4)cm,(111.0±48.3)min,(13.6±28.0)h,(1.7±1.5)d,(507.1±437.6)ml,(4.5±4.4)ten thousand yuan and(7.0±2.7)cm,(120.0±18.2)min,(18.2±62.4)h(2.1±2.6)d,(647.0±513.5)ml,(3.9±1.3)ten thousand yuan,the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion:Compared with thoracotomy,thoracic surgery for early and partial thymoma patients is less,less intraoperative bleeding,shorter postoperative hospital stay,safe and effective,and is worthy of clinical promotion.
