A Meta Analysis On Efficacy And Safety Of Wenxin Granule Combined With Amiodarone In Treatment Of Ventricular Premature Beats

Background: With the development of society,increase of life-pressure,the incidence of Ventricular Premature Beats is increasing.Through medication or catheter ablation,most patients get a satisfactory efficacy,but someothers can not,or the implement of medication and catheter ablation were limited.Therefore,we are looking for other treatment methods actively.Recently years,Traditional Chinese Medicine was developed energetically,and many studies showed that Wenxin granule has a good efficacy on the VPBs patients.Objection: To review systematically the efficacy and safety between Wenxin Granule combined with amiodarone and amiodarone monotherapy in treating ventricular premature beats.Methods: Two review authors searched the databases in CKNI,WanFang Database,VIP,CBM,PubMed and Cochrance Library independently,the literature related to Wenxin Granule combined with amiodarone in treatment of ventricular premature beats,from Year 2000 to Year 2018 were selected,then the authours screened the literature,extracted the data,and assessed the methodological quality of the included literature by using criteria from the Cochrane Handbook,finally the included literature was meta analysis by using Revman5.3 software.Results: 17 randomized controlled trials(RCTs)were included,that involving1491 cases of ventricular premature beats.The results of meta analysis showed that compared with the amiodarone alone group,the difference of effective rate[Z=8.43,P<0.00001,OR=3.52,95%CI(2.63,4.71)],the drugs reactions rate[Z=4.84,P<0.00001,OR=0.26,95%CI(0.15,0.45)],the reduce number of VPBs in Holter[Z=4.90,P<0.00001,WMD=-315.59,95%CI(-441.76,-189.43)],the gastrointestinal side effects rate[Z=2.94,P=0.003,OR=0.33,95%CI(0.16,0.69)]and the AVB rate[Z=2.53,P=0.01,OR=0.22,95%CI(0.07,0.71)]were statistically significant in the Wenxin Granule combined with amiodarone group.And the funnel schemas of effective rate were symmetry generally,sensitivity analysis has littledifference.Conclusion: There are more efficacy and more safety in Wenxin Granule combined with amiodarone group than those in amiodarone alone group.
