Objective To investigate the clinical characteristics and drug sensitivity analysis of nasopharyngeal secretion bacteria in patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma after radiotherapy.Methods A total of 83 cases of nasopharyngeal necrosis after radiotherapy for nasopharyngeal carcinoma treated at the Jiangxi Provincial Cancer Hospital from March 2013 to December 2017 were collected(14 patients were not included in the bacterial culture,so they were not included in the statistical analysis).SPSS 17.0software was used for statistical analysis.The test level was ? = 0.05.Measured data were expressed as meanąstandard deviation(ąs).Two independent sample t-tests were used for the comparison of mean,and 2-tests were used for count data.Results The positive rate of bacterial culture of nasopharyngeal necrosis secretion was not significantly different from the patient's gender,age,stage,number of radiotherapy courses,and nasopharyngeal necrosis(p>0.05).The secretions of patients with nasopharyngeal necrosis included both bacteria.It also contains fungi,of which the bacteria accounted for the majority(96.4%),the fungus was Candida albicans(3.6%),69 patients had 1 patient's secretions including 2 kinds of bacteria,and 2 cases of secretion bacteria contained bacteria as well.The bacteria containing fungi and secretions were the most abundant(61.8%)in Staphylococcus aureus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa(14.5%);the drug sensitivity rate of levofloxacin was the highest(85.5%)in susceptibility testing,and ciprofloxacin was the bacterium.Followed by(85.2%)and gentamicin(80.3%),nitrofurantoin was completely resistant to cultured bacteria and fungi.Conclusions 1.The positive rate of bacterial culture of nasopharyngeal necrosis secretion was not different from the patient's gender,age,stage,number of radiotherapy courses,and nasopharyngeal necrosis.2.The bacterial culture of nasopharyngeal necrosis and secretion was mainly Staphylococcus aureus.Is Pseudomonas aeruginosa;3.Levofloxacin drug sensitivity rate is highest,followed by ciprofloxacin,but the specific medication in clinical work still need to be based on drug sensitivity test results.
