| Objective: To explore the clinical,endoscopic and pathological characteristics of serrated adenomas.Methods: 150 serrated adenomas patients and 300 common adenomas patients in Xinjiang people's hospital were collected,the clinical,endoscopic and pathological characteristics were compared.Results : A total of155 serrated adenomas in 150 patients,whose ages were from 30 to 85 years old(average 54.2±11.6 years old)were brought into the serrated adenoma group.The ratio of male to female was 2.1:1(102:48).314 common adenomas in300 patients whose ages were from 30 to 85 years old(average56.8±11.2 years old)were brought into the adenoma group.The ratio of male to female was 1.8:1(194:106).The detection rate of serrated adenoma group(0.3%,185/64075)was lower than that of common adenoma group(14.9,1352/64075).79.3%(119/150)of the serrated adenomas were found in the left colon,which was greater than that in the common adenomas(61%,183/300).The endoscopic morphology of serrated adenoma was mainly in Yamada type I,which is the same as that in the common adenoma [41.9%(65/155),VS51%(160/314)](P >0.05);the size was similar to that of the common adenoma [0.46±0.407cmVS0.5.3±0.477cm](P >0.05).The rate of high grade intraepithelial neoplasia of serrated adenoma is lower than that of common adenoma[3.2%(5/155VS8.6%(27/314))](P<0.05).The proportion of women in high grade intraepithelial neoplasia group of serrated adenoma is higher than that of high grade intraepithelial neoplasia of common adenoma[80%(4/5)VS20%(5/25)](P<0.05).Conclusion: The detection of rate of serrated adenoma group was lower than common adenoma group,and most of them located in the left colon.Wide base with a diameter less than 10 mm.The rate of high grade intraepithelial neoplasia serrated adenoma is lower than that of common adenoma.The rate of female in the high grade intraepithe neoplasia of the serrated adenoma is higer than that of common adenoma. |
