Objective:To explore the association between single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs)in CLU and CNTNAP2 Genes in different denders of the Uygur population with Pseudoexfoliation Syndrome. Methods:A case-control association study was performed in this study,327 unrelated Uygur patients with XFS and 251 Uygur control subjects were included from November in 2015 to February 2017.5 milliliters of peripheral blood was sampled from each subject for DNA extraction and genotyping for 3 SNPs in the CLU and CNTNAP2 Genes using the im LDRTM method,The ?2 test was performed to analyze the allele and genotype frequency distributions,as well as the odds ratio and 95% confidence interval. Results:Adjusted by age,CNTNAP2 rs2107856,rs2141388,CLU rs2279590 were not associate with the risk of XFS under dominant,recessive,Log-additive genetic model in males.Adjusted by age,CNTNAP2 rs2107856,rs2141388,CLU rs2279590 were not associate with the risk of XFS under dominant,recessive,Log-additive genetic model in females. Conclusion: These results indicate that there may have no correlations between the 3 SNPs with XFS in the Uighur population in different genders.
