In recent years,the incidence of depression has increased year by year.The depressive patients are too many to be effectively covered by the current treatments.This paper studied the application of neurofeedback to the treatment of depression,which based on ubiquitous EEG signal.The EEG biofeedback indicators of depressive population were proposed and an adaptive neurofeedback system based on portable EEG data acquisition device was realized.The neurofeedback experiment of mild depressive population was designed.The effectiveness of the feedback indicators and feedback system was verified by analyzing the experimental data from three aspects:PHQ-9 and SCL-90 scales,EEG linearity features and nonlinearity features.The main research contents and results are as follows:?1?Three EEG biofeedback indicators of depressive population were proposed.According to the differences in EEG features between depressed and healthy people,three indicators of EEG biofeedback based on Alpha Band Absolute Power?Fp1,Fp2?,Beta Band Absolute Power?Fp1?,Theta Band Relative Center Frequency?Fp1?,and Gamma Band Relative Center Frequency?Fp2?were proposed.Indicators?f1,f2,f3?provide a comprehensive neurofeedback intervention for the depressive population.?2?The adaptive neurofeedback system based on portable EEG data acquisition device was realized.The position of selected electrodes can be configured,and the EEG data from 8 channels can be collected synchronously at most.The EEG biofeedback indicators can be combined from the 25 features of each guide.Three neural feedback games,such as meditation shooting,music feedback therapy and virtual reality intervention,were realized.The neural feedback adaptive algorithm was implemented.The system can make timely adjustment according to the self-regulation ability of the object.?3?The effectiveness of the EEG biofeedback indicators and feedback system was verified by a neurofeedback experiment of mild depression.After the neurofeedback interventions of 3 weeks?6 times?and through the follow-up visits at 6 weeks,it was found that the indicators of mild depression were significantly improved?f1 increased by 25.11%,f2 increased by 37.89%,and f3was raised to 1.82 by-1.59?,the scores of scales decreased significantly?the PHQ-9 and SCL-90scales decreased by 38.57%and 25.08%respectively after 3 week,and decreased by 70.00%and43.73%respectively after 6 weeks?,and the brain activity and activity intensity were increased steadily?the Beta Band Power Spectrum Entropy of Fp1 electrode increased by 24.74%?.The depressive state of mild depression was improved effectively and the overall recovery rate was up to 80%.
