The Clinical Effect Of Acupressure On The Patients With Acute Cerebral Infarction

Objective:To observe the effect of the patients with acute cerebral infarction by acupressure and investigate a more effective method of the patients with acute cerebral infarction functional impairment.Methods : Total of 60 patients from Department of Neurology in the affiliated hospital of Qingdao University were divided into the control group(30 cases treated by motor relearning program and conventional drugs)and the treatment group(30 cases treated by MRP and conventional drugs plus acupressure)by order admission.Medication for 14 days is a course of treatment,and treated for 15 min and twice one day.Two groups of patients were taken only one course continuously.In both groups,we assessed the score changes of the Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)curative effect score,motor function,the activities of daily living,the balance ability score,the Holden Walking ability score of the patients during the following 14 days: the 1st day,the 3rd day,the 7th day and the 14 th day,respectively.Results:(1)The total effective rate of the treatment group and the control group was86.67% and 66.67% respectively.The treatment group was better than the control group(P<0.05);(2)The TCM curative effect score was significantly decreased in treatment group.And it was better than control group in improving clinical symptoms(P<0.05);(3)The Motion function integral in treatment group was improved obviously.And it was better than the control group in improving motion function(P<0.05);(4)The activities of daily living in treatment group was not improved,and the score of the activities of daily living in the two group was not significant difference(P>0.05);(5)The Balance function integral in treatment group was improved obviously.And it was better than the control group in improving Balance function(P<0.05);(6)The Holden Walking ability score in treatment group was improved obviously,and it was better than the control group in improving the Holden Walking ability.Conclusion: Acupressure can improve the clinical efficiency,improve the motion function integral effectively for the acute cerebral infarction,improve the ability of balance function and walking ability,and the activities of daily living was not improved.
