Objective: Stroke is cerebral vessel suddenly rupture or vascular occlusion induced brain tissue injure, also termed "cerebral vascular accident(CVA)".Clinical symptoms were suddenly faint, facial paralysis, alalia, and hemiplegia,et al.The incidence of stroke increase by years following with substance level elevated and pressure increased, and the stroke population is younger. With the medical agnosis and treatment technology improvement, the treatment level of stroke patients was significantly elevated, but the disability rate was still high, including masticatory spasm, motor function obstacle, hand function obstacle,et al.At present, the rehabilitation methods about stroke patients including drug treatment, routine rehabilitation training, eletric stimulation therapy, massage,et al.However, these methods were all passive, and need longer time.Electromyographic biofeedback therapy(EMGBFT)bases on the plasticity and functional reorganization of brain, which translates electromyographic signal from paralyzed muscle to electro-optical signal, induces the active movement of stroke patients.EMG biofeedback therapy is associated with conditioned reflex(CR)formation. In current study,we examined the movement function recovery of the patients who received routine rehabilitation training and routine rehabilitation training combine with EMG biofeedback therapy, and investigate the effect of common recovery training combined with EMG biofeedback therapy on upper/lower limb, and wrist/ankle motor function recovery,as well as balance function recovery of the stroke patients.Methods:(1)Total of sixty stroke patients in the rehabilitation department of our hospital from January 2016 to may 2017 were include in this study, they were randomly divided into a routine rehabilitation traininggroup(n=30)and an EMG biofeedback therapy training group(n=30).(2)Routine rehabilitation group received drugs and routine rehabilitation training.Bobath,Brunnstrom,PNF and motor relearning training were main technologies of routine rehabilitation training. In the early stage, routine rehabilitation training includes the correct placement of anti spasticity postures, bridge training, turn over, translation, recumbent position-sitting position training, sitting position-standing position transition training, standing balance training, walking training, preventing muscle atrophy, articular adhesion, and disuse syndrome. In the spasm stage, routine rehabilitation training includes preventing spasm and abnormal motor model training, and promoting separation movement training,as well as occupational therapy, example as building blocks, roller training, peg disc training, wearing and take off clothes. The convention rehabilitation training sustains 8 weeks,30 min every time,2 times one day.(3)The EMG biofeedback therapy group was added with EMGBFT on the basis of physical drugs and routine rehabilitation training. The EMG biofeedback therapy of 30 patients was performed by a identical therapist. The electrode slices were placed on the stretch elbow muscle group and carpal extensor of upper limb and tibialis anterior muscle of lower limbs, the therapist guide patients contracted muscle from upper to lower limbs. The myo-biofeedback therapy apparatus received the electromyographic signal from contracted muscle, and enlarged the signal, translated the signal to image or voice, simultaneouly. The patients could know their myodynamia from image and voice. When the electromyographic signal exceed the threshold value, the paralyzed muscle received a electrical stimulation, increases the motion range of paralyzed muscle.Relax muscle and contract of muscle alternately. The muscle training lasting 20 min daily, for 8 weeks. Results: After 4 weeks and 8 weeks treatment of routine rehabilitation group and electromyographic biofeedback therapy group, the FMA score of upper and lower limb,Berg score of balance,Barthel score of activity of daily living(ADL),and active range of motion(AROM)score of wrist and anklewere all significantly larger than pre-therapy(P < 0.05).Furthermore,the FMA,Berg,Barthel,AROM scores of electromyographic biofeedback therapy patients at 4 weeks and 8 weeks were all significantly larger than the routine rehabilitation group at same time(P<0.05).Conclusion: Electromyographic biofeedback therapy combing with routine rehabilitation group was effective in reliving stroke patient upper and lower limber motor, balance, activity of daily living, wrist and ankle motion disorder, and the therapeutic effect was better than the simple routine rehabilitation.
