| Objective: To investigate the relationship between prolactin(PRL)levels in serum and clinical and pathological factors related to the prognosis of breast cancer. To infer the value of preoperative serum prolactin in predicting the prognosis of breast cancer. Methods: Review preoperative serum PRL value of breast cancer patients in our department from October 2014 to February 2018 confirmed by pathologically and without any treatment before admission, select patients with abnormal serum PRL as the case group.Patients with lower preoperative serum PRL were selected as the control group.Take the first blood test results after the first admission.Statistics the age of patients, the size of the tumor, number of axillary lymph node metastases, clinical stage, molecular typing of tumors, group and compare based on them. Results: Statistics 712 cases of breast cancer patients confirmed by postoperative pathology in Affiliated Hospital of qinghai University 2014.10-2018.2,screened out a total of 120 cases were enrolled patients,The results of experimental group and control group showed that there was significant difference between the two groups in tumor diameter and clinical stage(Z =-3.694,P <0.001;Z =-3.129,P = 0.002).Tumor diameter of high PRL group larger than low PRL group, distribution of clinical stage in high PRL group is higher than PRL low group. There was no significant difference in age, molecular typing and pathological classification(P> 0.05).The number of axillary lymph nodes in both groups was significantly different(Z =-2.480,P = 0.013).The number of axillary lymph nodes in high PRL group was higher than that in low PRL group. Conclusion: In this study,we retrospectively studied the effect of high prolactin levels on clinical and pathological factors in breast cancer patients and found that :Patients with high prolactin(PRL)levels in serum have relatively poor prognosis factors, serum prolactin levels may become one of the prognostic indicators of breast cancer,it plays a role in evaluation of breast cancer. |
