Objective:Multi-T1-arterial spin labeling-3D imaging and susceptibility-weighted imaging can observe the differences of cerebral blood flow?oxygen extraction fraction and cerebral metabolic rate of oxygen utilization in the brain tissue of residents living in Xining at 2200m altitude above sea level, and explore the relationship between Tibetan and Han nationality about the level of cerebral oxygen metabolism.Methods:20volunteers are recruited, which from normal Tibetan and Han nationality in Qinghai Provincial People's Hospital. There were 10Tibetan cases,10Han cases. All people had T1WI,T2WI,T2WI FLAIR scan, and SWI,MulTi-T1-ASL scan to obtain the Phase image of the region and ASL pseudo color map.The oxygen extraction fraction?the venous blood oxygen saturation?cerebral blood volume and cerebral metabolic rata of oxygen utilization is measured.Results:1?The cerebral blood flow?CBF?of different interest areas in Han was higher than that of the Tibetan nationality, the difference was statistically significant?P<0.05?.2?The oxygen extraction fraction?OEF?of different interest areas in Tibetan was higher than that of the Han nationality, the difference was statistically significant?P<0.05?.3?The cerebral metabolic rate of oxygen utilization?CMRO2?of different interest areas in Tibetan was higher than that of the han nationality, the difference was statistically significant?P<0.05?.Conclusion:1?The Tibetan cerebral metabolic rate of oxygen utilization in Xining region is higher than that of the Han nationality;2?Susceptibility weighted imaging?SWI?is effective in evaluating OEF images;3?The MulTi-T1-ASL sequence of magnetic resonance is effective in evaluating the amount of CBF images.
