The Comparison Of Narration In Zuo Zhuan And Lu Shi Chun Qiu

Zuo Zhuan is one of the most outstanding Chinese ancient narrative works, and LuShiChunQiu is the outstanding representative of the argumentative prose in the pre Qin period.To conduct comparative research of them, the rich historical stories in the ChunQiu periodwhich are contained in the two books must be focused on. As everyone knows, historicalstories in different time, different regions, different populations or in different works, willhave stories variation phenomena to a certain extent. From the Zuo Zhuan to LuShi ChunQiu,the historical stories in the ChunQiu period in a variety of narrative works also produced thevariation phenomena greatly. The variation of these narrative played a role which can not beignored on the later development of literature production. In this paper, the author will use thewestern narrative theory, the historical stories in the Zuo Zhuan, LuShi ChunQiu were studied,and the influences of historical stories in the ChunQiu period on later literature on itsvariation process were analyzed. This article is divided into three chapters:The first chapter, from the western narrative theory perspective, the author discussedwhat "Narration" and "narratology" is and the origin and development of Chinese ancientnarrative. In this process, the author mainly focused on the analysis of the narrativedifference between Zuo Zhuan and LuShi ChunQiu, and try to find the cause of these narrativedifferences. Then the author found that the main causes of their narrative difference is thedifference of the narrative perspective of two works. At the same time, the narrative art ofZuo Zhuan had a great influence on LuShi ChunQiu both in its form and content.The second chapter used the research methods of story variation to analyze narrativevariation phenomenon from Zuo Zhuan to LuShi ChunQiu based on the first chapter. To usethe research methods of story variation, what the story of variation is and the characteristicsof variation,which are first thing to know. The author was in reference to the research methodof predecessors, mainly from the story variation two big characteristics of "inheritance" and"variability", to analyze in-depth variation phenomenon of historical stories from the ZuoZhuan to LuShi ChunQiu. At the same time, the author also cited war stories, such as "WuZixu's story","Guan Zhong's story" and "Han Yuan war", which are spread widely in the preQin period to try to enrich the theory of this paper's point of view. The third chapter mainly discussed the influences of historical stories in the Zuo Zhuanto LuShi ChunQiu on later literature. The author mainly from the history of literature andclassical novels from two aspects, analyzed contribution of the history of the spring andautumn story on the rheological process of later narrative literature both in the content and thestyle of the stories. Sima Qian's Shih-Chi were influenced by the variation of historical storiesin the Zuo Zhuan to LuShi ChunQiu both in theme and style. And Luo Guanzhong's historicalnovel The Romance of the Three Kingdoms is a typical representative of the story variationto novels.
