Through analysing the literature review in China and abroad,the author found that educators focus more on knowledge visualization tools than learners'the process of thinking. Teachers who teach English writing in college, find that there are two kinds of difficulties. On the one hand,the teacher's teaching method can not arouse learners' interest in learning English writing, on the other hand, the teachers know little about the process of learners'English writing thinking. However,the learners'English writing thinking process visualization helps teachers find the learners' English writing problems and solve in time.English writing is a cognitive process of thought, and in the writing process the author needs to intake the relevant information into long-term memory area in the extract of the existing information, through the working memory for processing, and the timely processing of content expressed in English. From the point of working memory and processing process, the learners are feeling English writing is difficult, because of the learners in writing lack planning and management, the process of thinking in English writing and the knowledge visualization can help learners to better plan and manage the process of thinking in English writing.This study based on the knowledge visualization and English writing teaching of the literature at home and abroad to consult and analysis, compare university public English course standard for the requirement of English writing ability, puts forward the necessity of college English writing teaching visualization. Many modal theory, the whole language education, the dual coding theory and multiple intelligence theory as the instruction. In view of the problems existing in college English writing teaching, we need develop questionnaires and interview outline, according to the result of investigation and analysis, the author uses the theory of knowledge visualization support teaching, aiming to put forward based on the knowledge visualization of college English writing teaching steps. In the later to a college sophomore English two classes of students as the research object, using experimental classes and contrast that in comparative classes quasi-experimental study, the study time is from 2014.9 to 2015.1, the specific steps are as follows.Before a quasi-experimental in the university English four levels in December 2013 a writing questions, sophomores in the university public foreign language learners to six class for 30 minutes writing test, test disrupted student you finish the paper seal has experienced teachers in university public English CET-4 writing borating standards, and choose two classes does not exist significant differences of college English writing in the experiment. Experimental classes based on knowledge visualization of teaching college English writing teaching mode, that in comparative classes in traditional teaching of English writing teaching mode. Experimental classes and that in comparative classes teach English listening and reading and writing are the same teacher, the English writing class on the week after heard that got the last section, in addition to the experimental classes of college English writing teaching based on knowledge visualization, the content of the other professors, practice, etc. Are all the same. After the experiment on two classes of students in college English writing 30 minutes in December 2013, another set of questions to test, then a questionnaire for 20 minutes, then to interview to experiment teachers. The university English four levels of the collected real topic composition still adopt the method of experiment before collecting the composition to collect and process the data. Through analysing the teaching practice and standard practice, and the final conclusion listed as follows:Knowledge visualization are more likely to promote learners of English writing attitude from passive to active, and is easier to improve learners'English writing performance and is more suitable for learners of English writing scores low. At the same time try to let learners try to use images?video?concept maps?Mind mapping to express the real problem or interest of study? Some learners use knowledge visualization as a learning tool to migrate to other courses of study. The results for further knowledge visualization method is adopted to improve the futher study of English writing teaching provides the experience for knowledge visualization method.
