In recent years, risky behavior among teenagers has become one of the issues of common concern to the researchers.Risky behavior is the result of many different factors, rather than a single factor. Many studies indicate that the parenthood and self-control are the critical factors that influence adolescent risk-taking behavior. Although the studies of the parenthood and adolescent risk-taking have gained rich achievement, but most of the past researches focused on the way of parental education, and parental surveillance, there is few exploration in the empirical field of what impact of parental support, parent-offspring conflict on adolescent risk-taking behavior, also, there is less discussion existed in the joint effect of parental support and parent-offspring conflict on adolescent risk-taking behavior. Furthermore, it is unclear that whether the self-control plays an intermediary role in the relationship between parenthood and adolescent risk-taking behavior or not. Therefore, this research try to explore the relationship between parenthood, self-control and adolescent risk-taking behavior, especially to investigate whether self-control plays an intermediary role between parenthood and risk-taking behavior or not. This study adopted the method of cluster sampling, selected 500 students from first grade to third grade of a junior high school in Shandong province, using the network scale, middle school students' self-control scale and risk behavior scale to collect data, 462 questionnaire were effectively answered and collected to explore the relationship between parenthood, self-control and adolescent risk-taking behavior, concluded the following results with using SPSS17.0, AMOS19.0 statistical analysis software:(1)Parents' support, self-control and adolescent risk behavior are in significantly negative correlation. Parent-offspring conflict is significantly positively related to adolescent risk-taking behavior.(2)Youth risk-taking have significant differences among grades. Particularly, with the improve of grade, adolescent risk-taking also presents a increasing trend.(3)The self-control plays partly intermediary role in the relationship between parents' support and adolescent risk-taking behavior. In other words, parents support can directly influence adolescent risk-taking behavior and can affect the risky behavior among adolescents by influencing teenagers self-control.(4)Self-control plays completely intermediary role in parent-offspring conflict and adolescent risk-taking behavior. Namely parent-offspring conflicts can affect the risky behavior among adolescents by influencing teenagers self-control.(5)It is found that grades and genders have no significant difference in the path model through a comparison between structural equation model of multiple sets. Specifically, the model can be applied for different gender of students and middle school students.
