The Reserch On The "Rebirth" Myth

The "rebirth" myth is a quite lively myth story in the myth system,the basic core is concentrated in the “living”,“death” and “love”.Take the "rebirth" myth as the research object of this paper,based on the following considerations.First,from the diachronic perspective,the "rebirth" myth has a long history,including the spreading and new stories from ancient times until now.Secondly,from the synchronic perspective,the "rebirth" myth generated different mythes,from the myth system of all ethnic groups in the world.Lastly,from the literary point of view,the "rebirth" myth is rich with literature,and interprets about "living","death","love" with literature.Deeply speaking,literary narration opened by the myth should be considered as a history of the human spirit construction and cure.Myth Archetype has been singing repeatedly in the later narrative literature,and gradually becomes the tradition though the collective memory and an important force of culture and identity,which is the value of the myth.From the point of view of culture,the "rebirth" myth produced from our daily life,so it loads a deep password of a national culture.Therefore,the interpretation of the basic connotation of "rebirth" in the myth,is the key to open our national cultural treasure.This paper is instructed by the latest methodology of literary anthropology N coding theory,specifically,first level is material evidence(content),the second is the ancient and the implicit information of ancient thinking(word),the third level is the ancient text(text),N level is modern and future inexhaustible text(deduction and reengineering to the password of ancient culture).It will illustrate the relative questions of the "rebirth" myth from five aspects.Introduction mainly analyzes the following problems: First,what specific areas should the scope of the myth studied in the paper include? The answer is both diachronic and synchronic.From the purpose of this study,the myth defined in the paper is generalized,containing the most nations in the world.Second,what is "rebirth" myth studied in this paper? Third,what is the subject and culture meaning in studying the "rebirth" myth? These three questions will be illustrated in the part of introduction.Chapter One: The general introduction of the "rebirth" myth——the classification of the "rebirth" myth and the analysis of the plot model from the perspective of typology combined with Propp's Story Morphology and Thompson's Taxonomy of Folk Story,hoping to exploring the universality and individuality.Chapter Two is the main content of this thesis,containing the important content of two aspects.The genetic mechanism of the "rebirth" myth is trying to restore the original path of human psychology,searching for the foundation of thinking of the producing of the thought the "rebirth" myth from “case law”,“the concept of cycle”,“all things have spirit” and “living forever”.The function of the "rebirth" myth,it will deduce and discuss the living state of culture of the "rebirth" myth and history evolution from the "rebirth" myth and totem worship,from the "rebirth" myth and ritual,from the "rebirth" myth and religion,etc,which explore multiple meaning of the "rebirth" myth from the perspective of cultural tradition.Chapter Three: The literary meaning of the "rebirth" myth.In this section,the author selected the myth ritual and tragedy,like literary texts Tang Xianzu's “Linchuan Four Dreams”,Hamlet,Ya-Zhen Chen's “the Sheep Cried,Pigs Smiled,ants ill ”,"Grave Notes" and so on as case analysis trying to analyzes the small culture tradition.Studies have shown that "rebirth" myth reflects four kinds of the value orientation: thinking and inquiring the meaning of life and death,the unremitting pursuit of freedom and equality,the longing for home and cultural roots as well as the immortal pursuit of immortality.Then,the big cultural tradition and small cultural tradition of the "rebirth" myth go through each other,showing a whole picture of the cultural development of human beings.Chapter Four:The cultural significance of the "rebirth" myth.This part of the paper is focused on illustrating the cultural differences in the diachronic and synchronic perspectives.Myth is a cultural mirror,and the "rebirth" myth can reflect the commonness and difference of eastern and western culture.In the east,the "rebirth" myth embodies the culture traits of “harmony between man and nature” and happiness and peace.In the west,it embodies cultural traits of “divided between heaven and man” and pain and death.These cultural genes penetrate in all aspects of eastern and western cultures,as our cultural genes.Surely,there are also same compositions in eastern and western cultures.In ancient times,laboring enthusiasm of labor constitutes the main melody of the whole society.In class society,the main cultural traits are class struggle and resistance to oppression and the pursuit of freedom and equality.Since entering modern society,people's beliefs are destroyed by industrial civilization,people express the oppression to the “mainstream”,“official” and “authority” on the Internet,advertising and film and television works,which is the expression of the "rebirth" myth in the new era.In this sense,the "rebirth" myth is an important tool of our decoding culture.Above is the main content of this study.Studies show that the illustration of life,death and love from the angle of anthropology,can see the deep reasons of the different national culture and psychology directly,so multiple significance of mining The "rebirth" myth can make us better search password of national culture and inherit and carry forward the excellent national spirit.
