In the Pre-Qin period, music aesthetics held a very large proportion of the value within aesthetics as a whole. In this time, music and dance culture were intrinsically linked with ancient philosophy. Further, many forms of etiquette and customs of primitive clans inherited characteristics from this culture. Additionally, music and dance culture were utilized by politicians and rulers to enlighten people. Therefore, the study of Pre-Qin period music aesthetics, theory, ancient philosophy, and pre-history are very significant. As dancers, we continue to study and learn the purposes of dance, one of which is to inherit knowledge, while also improving music and dance culture development. Secondly, the purpose is to allow dancers to have a complete set of theoretical and technical materials that they can study. Methods of the dancers lie in historical science theory, morphological theory, and literary theory of edification and influence. Dancers not only learn how to move, they learn superb artistry with rich cultural connotations and unique aesthetic taste.
