Emotions can affect the individual series of cognitive activities. In the past, most of the resear che-s on the deaf have focused on the deaf mute crime. There are few studies on the time percep tionof the deaf, and only a few of them are also studied under the long time. This research mai-nl y using distance judgment paradigm, through two experiments, systematically investigated the eff-ec t of the influence of Chinese face images on the perception of the distance of the deaf with fo-ur emotional pictures(happy, surprise, sad, angry) as experiment material which selected from the Chi neseface emotional image system,so as to have more understanding for the deaf, time perception, andexpand and deepen the study of cognitive function changes of deaf people.Experiment 1 and experiment 2 adopt the classic time perception judgment method of experim en-t, the picture of the two experiments materials are random, time interval including 400 ms and 600 ms and 800 ms and 1000 ms and 1200 ms and 1400 ms and 1600 ms seven time, and they are presented in a random, to seek the correct rate of 80% to start the formal experiment. The e-xperiment required the participants to make judgments about the time of the picture. The first experiment is designed in a short distance range, one purpose of which is to invest igate emotional impact on time perception mechanism anf the other is to explore emotions affect d e-af time perception.Experiment two which based on experiment one is to investigate the influence o-f emotional self-control on the time perception of deaf mute through manipulating the sense of control of the material. Experiment two includes three groups: 75 pcontrol group and 25 pcontrol e-xperimental process, the two groups of experiment results of comparative examination is positiv e(joy and surprise) and negative(sadness, angry) and the relationship between the high and low t wo arousal level, 75 pnocontrol group in 75 pcontrol group comparative examination results is hig h ar-ousal level under the positive and negative emotion and sense of self-control in the presence of t-he relationship between subjects.Under the condition of this thesis research, may draw the following conclusion:First, in a short time frame, emotions can be affected mainly by sensei mechanism deaf time p-erception;Second, the deaf interval estimation of the expression pictures are better than the actual interv al, and the interval estimation of the negative pictures, longer than positive pictures interval estima tion of the high arousal pictures than low arousal pictures;Compared with the perceived time under l-ow arousal emotions, deaf subjects perceived time under high arousal emotions significantly long er.Experimental results verified assumptions;Third, there is significant interaction between group and control;Fourth, high sense of self-control group no significant distortion of time perception, automatic co-ntrol of low set of subjects significantly distort the time perception. The results accord with ex peri-mental hypothesis. Therefore, emotional perception has significant influence to the time of the deaf, within a sho rt distance, emotion mainly through awaken mechanism to influence the perception of time, high s ens-e of control group no significant distortion of time perception, automatic control of low set ofs ubj-ects significantly distort the time perception.
