In the early stage, feature films mainly provided service to promotion. Chinese feature films have begun to place an emphasis on the presentation of urban culture in recent years. Furthermore, the unique charm in the shooting skills and the construction of artistic conception in the feature film Charming Lotus Town is summarized.This paper can be divided into three sections. In the first section, the research background and the significance of the subject of the feature film Charming Lotus Town are summarized. Through the popularization of historical and cultural sites in China, our sense of historical responsibility and cultural identity can be reinforced. Thus, human beings' imagination and creativity can be further stimulated, which will facilitate the diversified cultural development. In terms of the significance of this subject, there's few research or discussion regarding the shooting and editing skills of feature films.
