| Working memory has been a hot research field of psychological research, As for spatial attention and the sequence retrieval ways of working memory, when the working memory sequence series presented, In the current study we demonstrate that retrieval from verbal serial order WM can be facilitated or hindered by spatial cuing: showing the level of spatial cues, begin elements of a verbal WM sequence are retrieved faster after cuing the left side of space, while end elements are retrieved faster after cuing the right side of space. but it was also proven that when spatial clues is in horizontal representation, there is relationship between working memory series sequence retrieval and the spatial relationship processing, while vertical direction has not been confirmed. In addition, the item’s similarity to affect the coding working memory sequences, this thesis adopts the vertical representation of spatial clues, and he working memory sequence series presented, and introduces items’ similarities as influence variables, to explore the relationship between the working memory series sequence retrieval and spatial attention as well as its influence of their similarities on this relationship.Research(experiment 1) Arabic numerals as experimental material, selected 30 college students as test subjects, the screen,and then this thesis explores what kind of relationship between spatial attention and working memory series sequence retrieval. Results show that when the working memory sequence series presents, and the vertical representation of spatial clues, the above spatial clues facilitate the early working memory retrieval, while below spatial clues facilitate late sequence project working memory retrieval.Study two has dual purposes: First, to expand the experiment a conclusion of the scope of application; two is the joining of the variable of item’s similarity. Mainly two experiments are included: experiment two divided working memory sequence into completely dissimilar sequence, phonological similar sequences, glyph similar sequence. The experimental material is Chinese characters, selected 28 college students as subjects. The results showed that working memory sequence, the project phonetic similarity weakened spatial attention on working memory sequence sequential retrieval of regulation, but still follow the regular : the above spatial clues facilitate the early working memory retrieval, while below spatial clues facilitate late sequence project working memory retrieval.Experiment three uses a phonological semi-similar sequence and glyph semi-similar sequence, and selected 27 college students as subjects, the results showed that when the working memory in a continuous sequence of similar projects will weaken only when a certain number of spatial attention on working memory retrieval Series role.Combined the results of the two studies, when the working memory sequence series presents, and the vertical representation of spatial clues, spatial cues for memory retrieval sequence has a regulatory role, the above spatial clues facilitate the early working memory retrieval, while below spatial clues facilitate late sequence project working memory retrieval.
