Huang Qun’s Political Practice At The Beginning Period Of The Republic Of China

Huang Qun(1883-1945)is a Republican member of the ideals,aspiring political activist and social activist,educator and businessman.In his political career,he was personally involved in the early Republican party political movements,National Protection Movement and the Congress movement,promote the Chinese political democratization process.A Study on Huang Qun’s political practice at the beginning period of the Republic of China,not only let us fully understand his personal life path,thinking evolution,but also enables us to grasp the groups’ special psychological and behavior in the complex historical background features and enrich our understanding of this period of history.This article aims to detailed historical data as the basis,Huang Qun’s political career as the center,comprehensively and objectively discussed his political activities.This article is divided into three parts:The first chapter is the first part,the content of Huang Qun biography,from macroscopic on Huang Qun’s whole life.He combined the traditional Confucianism,Yongjia theory with the western bourgeois ideological and political theory effectively,realize achieve mastery through a comprehensive study of the old and new thought,form their own political ideology;In politics,he spare no effort to implement the constitutional foundation;During the business,he did many things to promote industrial development;In the field of education,he started schools and so on;During Anti-japanese war,he devised the "GaoTao event".For the second part,chapter 2,3,4 is the core content of this article,mainly in the party construction,National Protection Movement and the Congress movement.In order to implement political party system of cabinet,he sponsored association of the Republic of China,and then form republican party and progressive party.After Yuan Shikai proclaimed himself emperor,he planned National Protection Movement with Liang Qichao.After Congress open again,he frequently make recommendations and argue to defend his political faith.The fifth chapter is the third part,the content of Huang Qun ties with important people at the same time,Liang Qichao,Tang Hualong and the northern warlords.The relationship between Huang Qun and Liang Qichao is also mentor also friends.Although Tang Hualong have differences on specific matters with Huang Qun,but the same political beliefs are often able to reconcile the contradictions,make two people to seek common ground while shelving differences.But to the northern warlords,although Huang Qun tried his best to guide the old forces,promote its improvement,however,in the end,all the efforts ended in failure.
