The Research On The XinShu

XinShu is a masterpiece which was written by Jia Yi, a writer, thinker and statesman in the early Han Dynasty, and edited by the later generation. Being a book which was written between the period of Qin and Han Dynasty, its content reflect the former history and concern reality of the Han Dynasty, which is highly important for the construction of the unified Western Han Dynasty. The writing style is unique and has a profound impact on later writers. Therefore, it has a great value from several aspects to study XinShu.This present study was divided into four parts apart from the introduction and conclusion.The first part is a brief introduction to Jia Yi, the background and the authenticity of XinShu: Jia Yi won appreciation after early bloomer, actively offered advice and suggestions to the monarch by his talent and made much contribution to consolidate the Han Dynasty. XinShu, the Political Argumentative Essay, included the entire contents of his ideas and the reason why the book was created is the requirements both internal and external reality of the early Han Dynasty, the promotion of the relatively relaxed cultural environment and the driven from the scholar's historical responsibility. The authenticity of XinShu has been disputed for a long time and eventually was determined as a real book.The second part talks about the content of XinShu. Jia Yi pointed out the needs to focus on people's livelihood, inhibit Phan States' s strong, repress the foreign aggression and pay more attention to the education according to the grim social reality. Jia Yi proposed to curb the unhealthy social atmosphere and pay much attention to solve livelihood issues; being confronted with the rebellion, he suggested that cutting fan is a good way to solve it and the specific strategy is to build more Princes and reduce their powers; Jia Yi put forward a tactics named “three tables and five baits” against the Huns; and meanwhile he proposed to attach importance to theeducation to cultivate the future virtuous emperor.The third part is about the writing style of XinShu. For one thing, the book discourses with a strong color in the Warring States and its article is magnificent and includes a large number of historical stories and parables to make the reasoning vivid;and for another, the delicate work-induced structure is included in this book and the rigorous logic and orderly arrangement make the political commentators convincing;and besides that, the language is contagious the features of the articles is to win public long, speak their minds and makes the discussion be like Fu.The fourth part is about XinShu's impact on future literature. And the later writers admire Jia Yi's unique personal charming and his writing style which is magnificent and full of emotion is becoming a main line for the later writers' creation.
