Gu Changwei is a very important moviemaker in the history of Chinese contemporary film.Since the 1980 s,a lot of film works in which he participated as a photographer won a great reputation in the domestic and international film industry. Since 2004,he directed independently four films: "Peacock"(2004), "And the Spring Comes"(2007), "Love for Life"(2011), " Love on the Cloud"(2014).
