Festival Woodcuts as the representative of China traditional culture, people decorate new year, wish the best of luck in the form of painting, sustenance of people on the auspicious life of peace. It originates from the folk rooted in the folk,concentrated among the working people's wisdom, according to people's aesthetic needs through the history of the long-term development and formed a unique artistic characteristic. And of Yangjiabu Festival Woodcuts as one of the three major Chinese folk painting market, is under the rapid development of modern economic and cultural impact, faced with pictures themes and lack of new and lack of talents and many worry place, how to develop and inherit the traditional culture in the new era has become the focus of today's society.Wei county has a long history, creating a lines slender smooth, strong color contrast, modeling simple mellow, rich local flavor, close to the public life of Weifang woodblock New Year pictures. Inheritance and development, the key lies in the Yang Jiabu wood New Year paintings, the society and the needs of the market and inheritance. This requires that we need continuous innovation and development, learn from traditional culture design more satisfied with the modern aesthetic cultural products, making for the modern people to understand the Yangjiabu new year unique traditional crafts, inherit and carry forward the traditional folk art, which makes the study has a very broad prospects for the study.This paper conducts the research based on the Yang Jiabu Festival Woodcuts of the book binding design. The content is divided into five chapters: the first part is introduce the topic selected topic basis, research framework and research status; the basic situation of the second chapter mainly from the development history of the subject matter and on Yangjiabu Festival Woodcuts; the third chapter describes in detail the contents of the book binding design; chapter four is the core of this paper proposed earlier concept and collect pictures of material, and then introduces the implementation of the design and the reflection on the design of the; the fifth chapteris summary and outlook, from the whole of the research made a summary and outlook for the future.
