Investigation And Study Of Luo Opera

As Chinese government has attached increasing importance to and called for protection of intangible cultural heritage,a large number of experts and scholars devote all their energy to these cultural heritages,such as folk literature,art,opera,folk art,architecture and so on.Now more and more intangible cultural heritages are dug out.In recent years,the research of folk drama art is a hot spot.Experts in literary circles,music industry and Chinese operatic circles attempt to explore and excavate the folk drama art from their own professional perspectives.This paper attempts to comb and sort out the development vein of a certain fork drama art by using a series of methods,such as field investigation,consulting a large number of literature and relevant books,interviewing some old artists,tracking a troupe and so forth.This paper also tries to put forward some corresponding development suggestions in order to make the folk drama art come back to life and be able to leave a trace in the tide of history.In the study of folk drama,some opera performances which spread widely and have more audiences draw the attention of experts and scholars who have done a thorough research and play a significant role inthe development of folk drama.However,some small operas which are affected by new culture and impacted by the mainstream drama performances don't receive much attention and they struggle on the edge of disappearing.Luo opera is one of those small operas and the study of such is few.There are just a few introductory articles as well as some brief and simple studies.This paper attempts to do a research on Luo opera in a more elaborate way by studying its aria music,accompaniment instruments and the situation of class and society troupes.This paper aims to make some research achievements about the study of Luo opera and aims to arouse the academia's attention and provide some references for the latter studies.
