| Since the reform and opening up, China's economy has achieved rapid development, a large number of foreign culture flood in, and makes the old moral rule become more and more maladjustment to the requirements of social development, the whole society demonstrate a condition of multiple coexistence of morality and value. Therefore, establish and complete the ideological and ethical system that suitable to the socialist market economy is imperative. In 2001, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China have issued the first civic moral construction programmatic document since the establishment of People's Republic of China, which is Citizen Ethics Construction Program, put forward the “civic moral construction” concept for the first time, and also described the meanings, principles and methods and a series of others issues of civic moral construction. The issue of Citizen Ethics Construction Program is the symbol that the civil moral construction and even the entire socialism moral building have entered a brand new era. But at present, socialism civil moral construction still face with many real and severe issues, then we need to work hard in many aspects, especially need to absorb the quintessence Confucian culture which has inherited hundreds and thousands years in China, to drive the development of socialism civil moral construction.As we all know, ‘benevolence' is the most core thoughts of Confucian. The nature of ‘humanness' of Confucian is ‘being benevolence'. In the premise of seeking ‘Tao', ‘benevolence' can be regard as a kind of moral request of the Confucians. In the self-cultivation of Confucian, Confucius has said: ‘devoted to the Tao', ‘depended on the benevolence', ‘benevolence' has actually a code of conduct that the Confucian need. The pessimism and optimism value of the Confucian is a kind of spiritual incarnation of the Confucian culture. The pessimism and optimism value of the Confucian refers to the viewpoints and opinions of Confucian over pessimism and optimism, is constituted with pessimism view and optimism view, the viewpoints and opinions over pessimism that is pessimism view, and the viewpoints and opinions over optimism that is optimism view. The pessimism and optimism view of Confucian include personal pessimism and optimism view, family pessimism and optimism view, state pessimism and optimism view and world pessimism and optimism view four levels. The take the insufficient of personal knowledge and moral deficiency as pessimism, and regard personal curiousness as optimism; take insufficient of family cultivation as pessimism, and regard family health and filial piety as optimism; take state at stake and hard people's livelihood as pessimism, and regard state tranquil and people happiness as optimism; take world harm and common people hardship as pessimism, and regard world peaceful and common people well-being as optimism, these four levels constitute a interrelated and interpenetrated full system. Worry and joy are different emotions of people which are interrelated and also are mutual different. Pangpu has summarized the pessimism and optimism of harmonious, he generalized these two spirit as, ‘pessimism', it reveal the positive attitude towards the life like, cautious, strive to be strong, follow the Yao and Shun, sacrifice for justice; what is called ‘optimism', it contains some kinds of contented feelings like living in straitened circumstances, hoary head age live in seclusion, courteously but without sincerity, forthright and sincere etc. therefore, in the process of socialism civil moral construction, vigorously carry forward Confucian pessimism and optimism value, can better reveal the national self-confidence and self-esteem, better cultivate the civil sense of responsibility and correct value, thus promote the good and fast development of socialism civil moral construction. |
